As a sufferer of anxiety and depression I find wearing or meditating with a certain crystal can help during these times.
Lepidolite is my go to crystal during these times of darkness and when I am in the "hamster wheel" of no return. I sit with it during my downers or pop it on my heart chakra to stop the anxiety rush. I also have a lepidolite bracelet that I wear that gets me through these dark, unknowing times.
