Our Star today is Frankie the Guinea Pig

Frankie is a happy, active Guinea pig who has only been with us for a month now. She’s around 3 years old. Frankie loves her morning herbs and veggies and is usually waiting at the gate for us to serve her breakfast. If I take too long chatting to the ducks and chooks before feeding her, she’ll raise her voice to get my attention.

Another eggciting milestone this past week. One of our cheeky araucanas has started laying! I decided on this breed purely for the blue-shelled egg and we’ve been patiently waiting since their hatching last October.
