The idea for Fetch Pet Resort had been brewing for a while, when in 2017 Neve & Bryce purchased their dream property in New Italy. A large green clearing within a beautiful national forest with direct access to the Pacific Highway, it held endless potential to be the pet wonderland they envisioned โ a place where dogs could be dogs!
So, they rolled up their sleeves and got to work and with a lot of help from friends and family, Fetch began to take shape. Neve and Bryce knew they wanted to create a home-away-from-home for fur-babies big and small, somewhere they would be happy to leave their own two Goldenโs, Byron & Buddy. These two fur-balls were living their best life; they ran the household, determined where and when holidays occurred and destroyed everything in their path with slobber and fur. Byron had a heart condition though, which demanded plenty of TLC and love, and many sleepless nights.
Neve and Bryce understood well that the love for a pet is unique and special. They are the ultimate companions, providing us with countless moments of joy, never-ending fun, and unconditional love in return. They wanted to design Fetch as a place that embraces this special bond so that when mum and dad are away, fur-babies still receive the love and care they get at home.
This meant no concrete cages, but instead, a great big grassy play area where compatible dogs could hang out together, become friends and tire each other out until bedtime.
