SAVE THE DATE - Womens Pre-season training & Meet the Coaches (Ant & Louie).
Monday 9th December @ 6pm - Northern Reserve, Newborough.
This will be a light training session followed by a BBQ & an opportunity to meet the coaches afterwards.

We’re excited to explore the possibility of launching a Youth Girls grade within the Gippsland All Stars!

Skills development opportunity for all girls in Morwell!

Harmit Singh, along with current AFL and local players will be running this event at Morwell, starting Tuesday October 15th

Morwell FNC has extended its academy to include all youth girls (aged 2007-2010) and as part of this FREE 6 week academy the girls will receive skills training on the field and then move into the rooms to sit in on some invaluable coaching in regards to strength training, nutrition, mindset etc.

I just want to get in touch with as many clubs and girls as possible to allow them to take advantage of this great opportunity to not only upskill their game, but also their mind and body.

AFL Victoria hosted a Vline Cup Carnival 22-24th of this month, Gippsland Power had over 45 u15s girls try out which is amazing for female football in the gippsland region. We had two of our U18s girls Shelby Williams an Kobie Collins representing Newborough.

Congratulations girls although you didnt get a win in the carnival u both played your hearts an and should be proud ❤️🤍🩵

NEW YOUTH GIRLS AGE GROUPS FOR 2025!

Following the successful Female Football Forum held in Morwell on 24th June and extensive feedback from our stakeholders, AFL Gippsland and Female Football Gippsland are excited to announce significant enhancements to the youth girls’ football pathway in the region.

Starting in 2025, youth girls across Gippsland will have the chance to compete in three dedicated youth age groups:

Youth Girls Under 15s – Central & East Gippsland: Catering to players in the central and eastern regions, this new age group will create a pathway for girls transitioning from mixed competitions.
Youth Girls Under 16s – West & South Gippsland: This age group supports the natural progression from the current Under 14s Girls programs in the West Gippsland and Southern Gippsland Junior Football Competitions.
Youth Girls Under 18s – Gippsland Wide: Continuing in its current format with two divisions, this age group will cater to clubs across the entire region played in a divisional format.
