Congrats to Bowie- AKA boy Apex Winters Wind D’Angelo- for passing his OFA Prelim X-Rays 🤩😍🎉.

Bowie is officially Embark DNA N/N and +/+ (DM clear and MDR1 normal) and these Prelim results of clear elbows and good hips bode well for official X-rays at 24mths.

Excited for his next steps with his family in the show ring 🥰🥰🥰

Happy 1st Birthday to our Divine pups today, born on St Paddy’s day 2022!!! Apex Winters Wind D’Angelo -Bowie- celebrated by getting his Prelim OFA Hips and Elbows x-rayed 😅 and we are enthused to say the vet was super happy with what he saw (we still need to wait for OFA assessors but it bodes well for Bowie and good news for siblings!). Big shout out to our families who love them and mum and dad Ayla of Trebons and Frost of Surefire ❤️❤️❤️.

😊 One of the reasons I’ve used Xander as my premier stud dog is he has every temperament characteristic the standard asks and the breed aims for. He is active, athletic, intelligent, sociable, loyal, a willing learner, and adapts intuitively to every situation I place him in.

We hope to continue our show adventures Down Under.

Happy Gotcha Day to this smart cheeky gorgeous girl and her amazing parents Meagan and Chris, they have hit the ground running with their first pup and Swiss and have just embraced it with flying colours. Soliel is a star at nose work and knows several scents already, and will be exploring UKC comps in the near future 🫶🤞🤩.

The pleasure of raising pups of this breed is the kind of people and families they attract, congrats Meagan, Chris and Solly and shout out to all my puppy families 💕💕💕

Applications open!! Dante… Over the last 72 hours we have had rain snow mud and sunshine and while unbathed we have glorious weather for pics…

We are offering this pup to his own family after extensive consideration!! His full brother is in a Guardian home so we have access to his lines for our program and, while these dogs love a pack environment, they love having their own person more and that is what we want for Dante. He is sweet genuine playful curious loyal sociable forgiving and just a joy. FCI registered and IABCA Nat/Int CH (Puppy), at 7 months he is ready to adopt and thrive with a family and continue showing if desired. House trained, crate and car confident, well socialised, heeling and easy to train. DM for details, looking for a fabulous home for this joy of a pup.

We enjoyed another busy show weekend with some very well informed judges and it was wonderful to see twice as many Berger Blanc Suisse dogs as we normally do!! The dream is to see full breed classes in all age groups and BBS representing across multiple show classes. The pioneers of our breed grew the White Shepherd throughout UKC shows but since I started I’ve seen very few BBS competing outside UKC in WA. To see not one but three new families represent was delightful and congrats to with Apex’ Litter C girl 💕💕.

Our Polish boy Aslan the Brave of earned his Sr Puppy Honors CH title this weekend with 5 top score cards and also won Best of Breed puppy in Show 2.

Apex Winters Wind Dante earned his Jr Nat/Int CH Puppy title and won and placed in his Group Bred By Exhibitor classes.

Our Xander won Best of Breed before taking the top off his healing toe pad so he had to retire for the rest of the weekend much to his disappointment (he still enthusiastically showed how he could very nimbly move on three paws…)

The wealth of knowledge at these shows of both judges and the show community makes every outing rewarding. I would HIGHLY encourage anyone interested to take a peak at the IABCA show calendar and see if there’s one coming up near you 🙂. Everyone is incredibly welcoming to newbies and an educated community is a strong community 🙂.

A few updates! We are now part of the gooddog.com breeder community. All profiles are individually verified and vetted by the Gooddog team and offer excellent resources and protections for families. It offers a great way to w**d out unethical and BYBs, I’m sure no system is perfect however all the breeder profiles I saw belong to incredibly professional committed high quality and legitimate Berger Blanc Suisse breeders.

We also have a new website under construction -link in bio but super simple ApexWintersWind.Com- which showcases links to our AWW pups on Insta 🥰. It will also offer private pages for AWW puppy families for our calendar of events and sessions. The mind is willing but the hours in the day are limited so :).
