We are delighted to advise that our Championship Show Judges for 2025 have now been approved by Dogs Australia. 🥳🥳🥳

The Judge for our 2025 Open Show will be publicised in due course. Please be advised that the Open Show will be on Saturday afternoon, at conclusion of the Saturday Championship Show subject to Dogs NSW approval.

And if you thought the 2024 Stafford Olympics were fun.....just wait until you see what we have in store for 2025 - you definitely don't want to miss the inaugural SSOOG!!!! 😝🥸🤭

At our recent 20th Anniversary Show we held our property classes in support of the Staffordshire Bull Terrier Heritage Centre Cladding Campaign. With entry fees and additional generous donations from members we raised just under $400 which has been converted to British Quids and 200GBP deposited via Paypal to the Heritage Centre.

We held a special donation class "Staffords of the Past" in honour of those dogs we have loved and lost. This double page spread is winging it's way to the Heritage Centre in a copy of our 20th Anniversary Catalogue which yours truly will deliver to them in person on my next trip home

Dave was a passionate terrier and SBT man who shared his knowledge and enthusiasm for our beloved breed worldwide, with many friends in countries across the world. You have left a void that no one will fill Dave,

We are eternally grateful to G***t Coetzer who stepped up to take photos when our booked photographer had a personal emergency which meant she was unable to make it at very short notice.

The club would like to say a special thank you to Donna Treadwell and Debra Radcliffe who donated three of these awesome bowl stands with handcrafted Stafford heads, as well as Stafford earrings, cookie jars and candles for us to use as we saw fit.
We awarded the three bowl stands to the Breeder of the Best In Show at the 3 shows we held over the weekend - here is the bowl and rosette won by Kim Crumpton, who very kindly donated it back to the club. So we auctioned it on Sunday and it raised $150.00. Along with the other donated goods that sold like hot cakes, the generosity of Stafford people is what enables clubs to keep going.

📣A Message from the Club President 📣

Safe to say we worked our ar....ses off all year to come together and build a club up and showcase its' annual Champ show for ALL Stafford exhibitors to enjoy.
This committee has made me appreciate what determination, pride and hard work can do, with no hiccups, lots of smiles and brilliant comradery.
For years I have wanted to be part of a committee but being situated hours from the nearest club, has seen me watch from afar and only support clubs and events by sponsoring and entering. Being given the chance to take on the role of President has allowed me to give back to the breed I love so much.
Our sponsors, our ribbon donators, raffle prizes, our photographer G***t, the show was successful because of all of you and your wonderful contributions to make it all happen.
We are lucky to have the very talented Jayne and Anita where nothing was too much, to help, to create and give their time freely to make the magic happen.
I have enjoyed every second of being part of such a great committee and great group of people.
Thank you all for your support and entries this past weekend, what a blast!
We hope you all have a safe trip home, looking forward to doing it all again with this group of people next year.
Our judges are already contracted for 2025 with many plans already in the works, we hope to see you all again at the next one.

The weather forecast for Hillsborough this weekend has been improving daily, currently looking like chance of some rain Sunday so pack accordingly.

There will now be a daytime canteen Saturday & Sunday.
