ATTENTION ALL NSW VOTERS

Make your vote count this weekend!

With the NSW state election result looking like going down to the wire, make sure you make your vote count this weekend.

You have no doubt all heard the very public campaign Dogs NSW have undertaken via radio advertising over the last few weeks. While PIAA and Dogs NSW differ on some finer details (namely actually PIAA supports increased regulation and higher standards to drive unscrupulous puppy farms and backyard breeders out of the industry). We 100% agree with DOGS NSW that both the Animal Justice Party (AJP) and Greens are a huge threat to the future viability of the pet industry and NSW families easy and affordable access to all pets.

If the Greens or AJP end up holding the balance of power positions in either house of the NSW Parliament after this weekend, we may well find our industry in a great deal of difficulty as they will push for draconian and hard line over regulation of pet breeding and retailing. This will result in ALL breeders and pet retailers being forced out of business, both good and bad. Failing to recognise that good businesses that put the welfare of their animals first are part of the solution, not the problem. The failure just proves that their agenda is actually driven by a philosophical objection to the keeping of ALL animals, including our PETS.

So please consider your vote carefully, discuss your concerns with friends, family and staff and for the good of our industry no matter who else you vote for make sure you put the Greens and Animal Justice Party last.

GRAHAM IS LOOKING FOR A NEW HOME

Graham is five year old Somerford Weimaraner.
He is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated & located in Newcastle, NSW.

Graham would be best to go to someone who has experience with large dogs.
Would suit a couple or a family with older children.

He is a very loyal, big, strong boy with a very playful and loving personality.
He walks well off leash and enjoys fetching and wrestling/cuddling.
He can follow basic commands such as sit/wait/come here.

He can be noisy when left alone for too long. He loves to be near people and happily lazes quietly when he is.

Due to a change in circumstances Lana's owners are looking for a new forever home for this beautiful female Somerford Weimaraner.
Lana is 3 1/2 years old & located in Sydney’s Northern Beaches area.
Desexed & up to date with all vaccinations & flea and worming treatments.
She understands simple commands such as sit etc.
Lana's perfect new home would be with someone with Weimaraner experience & who already has a dog who is looking for a companion.
A home with older Children would also be ideal.

Another Fantastic Review from a Family that has a 12 month old Somerford Weimaraner, thank you for the photos & the update, we always love to see how our babies grow up.

"Bentley has grown into a very handsome, intelligent and loving member of our family. I think his temperament and personality is very good and he loves to be around anyone and loves nothing more than a snuggle, a neck rub and to please us. He does have he’s very own voice within the household. He loves a chat😂

Hope you are well and we have nothing but positive things to say about Somerford Weimmarners and yourself. Trust me we talk a lot because we get stop frequently on our walks or when we are out and about. They just attract people😂.

UPDATE 24/9/21
John would like to thank everyone for the messages and emails. Atlas is now on a trial basis with a family in Newcastle who have a Somerford female Weimaraner.

I would like to thank our Somerford family for opening their hearts to help rescue Atlas. Daniel.

We need to find a new home for Atlas the Weimaraner.

DOB 17/10/2019.

Micro chipped and all vaccinations up to date.

Treated for fleas/worms etc.

Atlas is located in Port Stephens.

Atlas needs to go to a home that has had experience with Weimaraners. He will thrive in an environment where he will be with another dog preferably a female Weimaraner or another active breed.

He loves living indoors with his family as he can have separation anxiety and can be naughty if left to his own devices, although this could be corrected with some training & being placed in the right environment.
He is still young and energetic and his so has loads of energy.

He is a beautiful looking dog and with some time, care & love will be a great companion to a loving home.
