Contribute to vital research this Australian Pollinator Week by taking part in the Australian Pollinator Count.

The Australian Pollinator Count is a long-term project to monitor the status and trends of pollinator populations.

The count takes place each year during Australian Pollinator Week from 11-19 November, and is easy to do from your preferred device, whether it's a phone or computer.

To take part, review the Pollinator Count Guide and Quiz and learn to identify different types of insects you might find outside. Once you pass the quiz, observe a flower or bush for 10 minutes, record all the pollinators you see and register your results online.

Learn how to get started at https://www.australianpollinatorweek.org.au/count/

The Australian Pollinator Count is under way. Head outside and take 10 minutes to record all the pollinators you can see. By taking part, you can help contribute to important research monitoring pollinator populations and diversity.

If you’re unsure about where to start, check out the online Learner Guide for information on identifying pollinators.
