Otis, Harley & Clifford have become firm friends at Puppy Preschool 🐶
They can sit like good boys (most of the time) and they're learning to walk on a lead.
Otis may also have a future ahead of him as a model, but we'll need to see what happens after graduation 📸

And he's here to stay. Dr Paul is now seeing patients every Monday to Friday at Fletcher clinic. You can book your pet's appointment by calling us on 4955 6670.
💊 Prescriptions can be filled every day on-site at Fletcher, and we're aiming to be back to offering full surgical services capability in mid-June.
🩺 Currently our Wallsend Village location is temporarily closed, so please call or visit our Fletcher clinic for all your pet's health care needs.

The update you’ve been waiting for…
Dr Paul is returning to Fletcher Vet! We’re busy finalising the specific details but will have more to share about his return date in the coming days.
Our staff have had a number of enquiries about vet appointments, surgery and prescriptions. Here’s the details:
🗓️ Dr Caitlyn is currently available for consultations at WALLSEND on Mondays & Tuesdays, and FLETCHER clinic on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. You can book your pet’s vet appointment via our website.
🩺 Please be aware that currently all vet appointments are for consultations and not surgery. We’ll update you when this changes.
💊 Prescription medications can ONLY be dispensed under supervision of a vet, so if you need a script for your pet, please visit the clinic where Dr Caitlyn is on-site.
Thank you for your patience as we work towards resuming our usual services. We’ve been truly touched by the many heartfelt messages of support.

Need a script filled? Great news!
You can get prescription medication every day this week. Dr Caitlyn will be onsite at Wallsend Village on Wednesday 15 May and Friday 17 May, or you can catch her at Fletcher clinic on Thursday 16 May to fill your pet's scripts.
Please note, prescriptions can ONLY be filled at the location where the vet is onsite. If you have a question about your script, please call us on 4955 6670.

Not all chocolate risks are the same. Ensure it is up and out of sight (and smell) from your pooch. If you do an Easter hunt in the yard, make sure you make a map so that there are none leftover forgotten about that your dog can sniff out later 🗺️ Have a safe and happy Easter! 🍫

After examining its body and mouth, Cassy found several cat bite marks, as well as a small fracture in its jaw. We are treating it with medication to help eliminate infection and keep it comfortable. 🩺 Squirrel Gliders are listed as vulnerable in NSW. Getting your Indoor Cat Active! 🐈🐈⬛🔹Puzzle toys such as slow feeders, kongs, and lick mats are a great way to keep your cat occupied and engaged. It encourages positive learning and problem solving. 🔹Ditch the food bowl and let your cat hunt around the house. Divide several small portions around the house in various locations, up on shelves and behind couches, to encourage natural behaviours. If you’d like to keep a food bowl, try moving it to different locations around the house. 🔹Interactive play includes stalking, chasing, and pouncing. 🚨Canine Cough is in the Area🚨 Canine cough, also known as kennel cough, is an infectious disease that affects the respiratory system. It is very common in Newcastle and is easily spread wherever dogs socialise such as boarding kennels, and dog parks. It sounds very much like your dog is ‘trying to bring something up’ or ‘has a bone stick in their throat’. They have a dry, hacking persistent cough that may linger for several weeks. Although frustrating and bothersome, many otherwise healthy dogs will recover without medication or treatment. However for some, it has the potential to progress into a more serious and life-threatening infection if pneumonia and chronic bronchitis develop. Antibiotics or cough mixture may be required to clear the condition. Luckily there is a vaccination. There are multiple components of canine cough. The vaccines cover Parainfluenza (viral) and Bordatella bronchiseptica (bacterial). The vaccination which will suit best will depend on their lifestyle. Ask us which one we would best recommend for your pet 😷
