I’ll work with you to ensure your babies feel comfortable, happy and loved. I’m an experienced parrot mum; have 2 small dogs & I love cats but don’t have any since ours crossed over the rainbow bridge. I also offer stand-alone dog walking (30m, 45m, & 1hr). See list of services and pricing for additional services. Pet sitting at our home is not currently possible. Our home has: 2 small dogs and a free-flight Quaker parrot, and due to this we unfortunately can’t accommodate other inside dogs or cats. I am more than happy to look after your dogs and or cats in their own comfortable and familiar settings.

🐕🐕 Mr Urban Tailz did Home Visits to Ray and Frankie over the weekend.
Ray was very chatty asking the important questions - when are you taking me for a walk? As usual Miss Frankie loved the playtime with Mr Urban Tailz playing fetch with bounds of energy. Ray was just making sure that he remained on guard duty (even while in the house, peering out the window 😆). They were such good fur kids. 😍

🐕🐕Mrs Urban Tailz has walked Kippy & Baxter on many occassions, but last weekend was a first for House-sitting this sweet pair.
Kippy is a Kelpie X who turns 14 this month & Baxter is an 8 year old Chihuahua X. Kippy is a little slower than Baxter due to her arthritis, but she still loves going for walks and loves her toys. Baxter is so patient when walking together with Kippy and goes slower, but when he is walked by himself, he loves a fast pace. He also loves his little ball.
Both are such beautifully behaved puppers with sweet natures & both love thier humans very much. 🥰

Urban Tailz is sincerely grateful for your continued trust and support over the past 2 years. We have kept our dog walking prices as low as possible (among the lowest prices on the Peninsula) right from the start in 2022.

As you may know, the cost of living, including fuel prices, has been steadily rising. While we've worked hard to absorb these increases so far, to maintain the exceptional level of service you expect from Urban Tailz, we'll be making a slight adjustment to our dog walking prices. This change will be effective July 1st, 2024.

We understand price changes are never ideal, but we assure you we remain committed to providing the highest quality dog walking experience possible for your wonderful puppers. Thank you for your understanding. We appreciate your continued business!

🐶Mrs Urban Tailz did another House-sit for Maxie. It's the 4th House-sit with this sweetie-pie. He has the cutest face and expressive eyes. He knows just how to use them too 🥹😅😍
☀️His favourite time of the day is when he warms up in the sun (especially with the temperature dipping to single figures on Tuesday morning 🥶 I popped back late on Tuesday morning after walks, so he could get his bones warm 🌞

In fact this is the first time since late September 2022.
From the 1st of July, we will have 2 X 30 minute walking spots available in our regular schedule in Redcliffe.
The days we have available are: Tuesday and Wednesday (& a potential Friday)
The times will vary (between 8:00am & 11am).

🐈🐈‍⬛ Mr Urban Tailz did a week and a half of ' no fuss' visits with Boston and Memphis. It is the 3rd time he has done visits with these adoreable boys 😍
Because he is now well known by Boston & Memphis, they look forward to his visits and have become very affectionate with him too. It's so sweet to see blossoming relationships that we build with your fur babies.

🐕🐕 I was lucky enough to do another House-sit for the 'Floofs' over the weekend with the beautiful Roxie & her gorgeous son, Piper. Each time I see them I look forward to Roxie's heartfelt cuddles. Since my last visit, Piper has become affectionate too, which is very sweet. They are both wonderful puppers to spend time with and I enjoy every moment with them.😍 I look forward to the next booking with them.

🐈Mr Urban Tailz did Home Visits with Indy over the last couple of weeks. Indy is a sweet girl who is 13 years young and loves her family. Indy was very shy, preferring her own company. During visits Mr Urban Tailz went about making sure Indy was comfortable with him being there by offering pats and chats with her while he fed her, cleaned her litter tray and refreshed her water .

🐕🐕Bec has completed another House-sit over 12 nights with the beautiful Lola and the handsome Boris.
Bec fell head over heels with this perfect pair. Boris and Lola are such sweet and loving puppers. Walks, plenty of Bec cuddles, kisses and love was on the cards each day, which kept them happy and smiling.
Bec is so wonderful! These 2 absolutely adored her.😍

Isn't she beautiful?! Lulu is a 2.5yr old Groodle.
Lulu has 3 walks per week with Mrs Urban Tailz. She is so gentle, sweet and an absolute dreamboat to walk. Her human dad has done a wonderful job training her. 🤩

🐕It was a busy weekend with 2 daily visits with Barney. He was very excited with each visit & I took him for a walk before his breakfast and cuddles. He walked really well, however slowly... Some puppers are journey walkers 😉😅 Each visit I was met at the gate by Barney and he would present me with a thong 🎁😆 The afternoon visits were pats, cuddles, yard tidy up and dinner.
As he got to know me a little better, he showed his soft and smoochy nature. On the last afternoon, he was joined by his canine sister Kheta (White Boxer). They were such lovely puppers.

🐕I have been walking Frankie daily, since October 2022. Saturday night was the first time I have had availability to stay with her overnight. She was confused at first because I normally turn up in the morning to walk her, and here I was at night time walking in through the front door. 🥰

🎬🎥 🤫Urban Tailz were invited back for the next filming session of our favourite show "Dogs Behaving (very) Badly -Australia" - as extras. It was a great day, filmed on a glorious sunny Sunday in beautiful Sandgate.

🐕 Urban Tailz is happy to introduce this cute little man. His name is Rocket, but also gets called " Rocky". 💙
Mrs Urban Tailz walked him over 4 weeks while his human mum was stuck in a moon boot and couldn't take him for his normal walks.
He loved getting out in the fresh air for his walks. Each walk was a sniffari. 😁

Urban Tailz completed a "Devoted" House-sit this week with Finnley & Kobi. 😍
🐕Finn is a sweet hearted Beagle who doesn't mind a cuddle and loves to play ball. He is beautifully natured and behaved with the softest velvety ears.
🐕Kobi is a cute little guy who loves a lap and to snuggle up with a human. He's got loads of love to give and loves to play with full gusto and in "flat out" mode until he runs out of steam. His cries when he wanted attention were so funny. His mum calls it "clown crying" 😂😂 You wouldn't know it by the way he runs, jumps and plays, but he had a very serious spinal injury which is on the mend, and he recieves treatment for. It is for this reason that he isn't able to play with his brother Finn because it would be too risky for him and his spine. This meant managing time and engagement with them when they were both in the same room, so that they didn't start playing together. They were both very well behaved and very loveable. 🥰😍 Thank you to their mum for the wonderful review you gave us. It means so much 🤩
I also thank my regular dog walking clients for your understanding and flexibility with walks enabling me to change times, drop a day or two, or rearrange the walk so I could house-sit these lovely puppers.

Douglas is a sweetheart who loves humans and his brother Rocket. Rocket is a little guy with excess energy, loves his toys and playing with his big brother Douglas. Bec took them on walks too. She adored them both and loved how well behaved they are.🥰😍🤩

🐕🐕Last week Mrs Urban Tailz did 2 x daily visits for 2 adoreable blonde Golden Retrievers. 😍
We are pleased & excited to welcome Scout and Nelson to the Urban Tailz family.
🐕Nelson has many friends that he loves to introduce to you. He has a box of friends of all sorts of colours and shapes. He is such a sweet boy. He adores his sister Scout. They are never far apart and love to play.
🐕Scout is full of energy, a tonne of love and will give you the biggest smile to get belly rubs. When she's really excited, she will talk to you. She loves playing with her brother.
They had walks with their visits and were so well behaved. Scout made friends with a Shiba Inu who was so friendly too.

Mr Urban Tailz has completed 17 days of twice daily visits and walks with Tāne and Bella. Mr Urban Tailz was run off his feet! One day he walked 8 dogs in 1 morning! Then he went to his 'real' daytime job so that he could sit down for a while😅. Yes, for those that wonder... Mr Urban Tailz does have paid employment around the Urban Tailz (unpaid🤣)schedule.
Mrs Urban Tailz is so lucky to have so much support from him. 😍🥰 This is the second time he has cared for Tāne and Bella, while their humans were on holidays. He looked forward to seeing them daily. They are such beautifully behaved doggos.

Mr Urban Tailz did twice daily visits with Max & Bodhi the gorgeous Staffy boys for the 3rd time. They get so excited to see him and love him coming to visit and especially when he takes them out for a morning walk.

🦎🦎🦎I fed Mango, Berry & Pancake - the Bearded Dragons, each day of the house-sit. However they are currently in brumation so they all stayed asleep. I was lucky enough to say "hi" before the house-siting date and the inactivity began in earnest. Look at the beautiful colour of her.😍

For all our Staffy clients & fans 🤩- we now have 18 Staffies on our books.

The relationships between all doggos were great. It was a balance getting the feeding routine tweaked perfectly because they were separated into pairs for dinner time. It didn't take long before it all fell into place.
The beautiful relationship between Rosie and Topaz was so lovely to see and watching them play was funny.

Topaz - A kitty who likes to be the boss of these puppers to keep them in line 😅
A sweet girl who loves her playtime with Rosie.
Sapphire - Loves to get in at playtime and have fun with Rosie & Coco
Skye - A sweetheart who loves to sit at the outside table and watch everyone play
Rosie - A little anxious at times, but a very sweet girl who loved being my shadow
Coco - Tiny in comparison to the other girls, but didn't let that stop her at playtime.
This house-sit was a huge undertaking to begin with, but the girls were all beautifully behaved and all had their own personalities that shone through. I loved getting to know them all. 🥰😍

Easter weekend saw Mr Urban Tailz doing his first official House-Sit ⭐️😍
🐕🦜Mr Urban Tailz house-sat with Nugget and Echo (Cockatiel). Nugget got very jealous when Warren paid any attention to Echo. He stayed 2 nights, did an awesome job of cleaning the house before leaving to come home and Nugget enjoyed his walks too.

Mrs Urban Tailz would like to thank Mr Urban Tailz for his support, love and help each and every day. He had more than his fair share of busy running around during the Easter long weekend. He visited Teddy & Monty in the afternoon to feed them and then returned the following morning to take them for a walk and also played ball with them.
These beautiful boys were so good and loved thier visits. They will also be joining our regular walking schedule during the week.

National Police Remembrance Day is a day to remember and honour all police officers who have been killed in the line of duty. 🐕‍🦺Urban Tailz would also like to highlight the respect we have for our pawsitively pawsome Police Dogs who serve us so well. The names below are just some that have died in the line of duty. PD Quinn crossed the rainbow bridge July 11, 2022 after some well deserved time in retirement. 🐕‍🦺PD Dravec, a Belgian Malinois, commenced service with the Dog Unit in 2017. He was accredited as a General Purpose Dog on 24 April, 2018. During his service, he was also accredited as a Public Order Dog and as a Tactical Dog. Police Dog Dravec passed away while off-duty on Monday, 26 December 2022, aged five years. 🐾 Please don't forget about PD Quizz who went missing from Redbank Plains on January 11, 2022 when he became separated from his handler while tracking an offender. 😢🐾👮‍♂️ #nationalpoliceremembranceday2023 #policedog #bravedog #thinblueline #thankyouforyourservice

Happy Birthday to Moki who turned 6 yesterday and to Arlo who turns 2 today. 🥰🥳 What's better than a birthday cake? Kangaroo Knee Tendons 😋 Yummo! Nothing artificial or synthetic -100% Kangaroo. Great for teeth cleaning, especially back teeth. Of course, the celebration continues inside with treats for Yoshi.

When it comes to our fur babies please be mindful of their sensitivity to loud bangs and flashes created by fireworks which are often very frightening for them making them stressed, and potentially trigger their fight-or-flight response. If your fur babies don't like thunderstorms they may also react in the same way to fireworks. Wet Wednesday walking weather. It was Jamila's first day out on a full walk today. She is so tiny and scared of lots of things. We went nice and slow and let her sniff the new smells and when it was too noisy or scary I picked her up and carried her for a little while. Thanks Masuda for being a great big brother and showing her how much fun getting out for a walk can be. 🐾🐶😍🐾 A common question asked of dog walkers is: What happens if it's raining? We assess the risks of any weather (heavy rain, storms, wild winds, heat, hail etc) and make a decision based on risk to dog/s and walker and if the fur parent wants the dog to get wet.
