It is with a heavy heart that I have to tell you that our beloved Charlie passed away last night. We are all totally heartbroken as he was definitely one in a million. Everyone that has been into the grooming room has, at least once, met the beloved Charlie boy. He would sit so proud and majestic on his chair and accept any pats or treats anyone would offer. Sometimes sniffing his own treats out of someone’s pocket. He loved every dog and person that came in. He was my little sidekick for so long and, although I work alone, he always made me feel I had a workmate beside me. Even though he had only been in my life for a few years he really touched my heart.
Always remember Charlie that your Gwan loves and is going to miss you so so much. Rest in peace my Charlie boy💜

This is sheila. She is one of Charlie and Roos puppies they had last year, however unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances her family can no longer give her the life she deserves, so they contacted us to see if we could help find her forever home. Most of you have met Charlie and Roo and know what great dogs they are. If you haven’t they are two of our much loved pets and the most docile, loving dogs you will ever meet. Charlie is a purebred GSP and Roo is a Harrier x.
Sheila weighs approximately 24kg but is overweight and would need to loose about 5 kilos to achieve her ideal weight
She is 1 year old and was born on the 24/04/2022. She is up to date with vaccinations, has been wormed and flead, but is not desexed.
She has been an only dog and gets bored when left alone for long periods of time, she will chew everything and dig holes consequently. She loves other dogs and I think she would be more suited for a home that already has another dog to avoid her getting bored and chewing things. Her family had a 5 year old girl who she was very gentle with, however she hasn’t been exposed to children of a younger age yet. They also had a cat which she tried to play with however the cat did not like her. She hasn’t been exposed to other animals such as rabbits yet.
She is very food orientated, so easily trained with food. She is trained to sit, lay down, wait when feeding and will wait for a command to eat. She is also crate trained and toilet trained.
She can get over excited when going for walks but calms down after 10 minutes.
She is a very happy dog and loves to play.

Unfortunately due to the number of no shows and late cancellations, I have no choice but to enforce a 50% deposit of the service upon booking. This deposit is non refundable and will come off the total grooming price on the appointment date. Changes can still be made up to 24 hours in advance. If you need to reschedule your appointment you can do so by logging into your account online, or by contacting me and your deposit will be transferred to the new booking.
If I need to cancel or reschedule your appointment for any reason, I will contact you and give you the option to receive a refund on your deposit or transfer it to a new booking date.

**HOME NEEDED**
Hello Again. Little Jacko had a wonderful stay over with a beautiful lady and her four legged friend while his Dad was in hospital. Jacko was even toilet trained while he was there. He did reunite with his Dad and enjoyed his time back with him but unfortunately Jackos dad has passed away and he is now looking for a forever home that is willing to give him all the love in the world for the rest of his life. He has been through quite a few changes recently so having someone who can love, spoil and provide for him would not only bring out the best in him but also the best in you. If you think you could offer Jacko a loving forever home please contact me

Hello all. I’m wondering if there is anyone out there that would be willing to open up their home to this little guy for a week or two. His dad is currently in hospital and has no one to take care of him. He is 4 years old and is such a friendly little boy but having an older owner he has not been house trained. Most of you have met Charlie and know how quiet he is. He’s so quiet that he makes a great blood donor at Main St Vet Clinic. Charlie was asked to donate his blood to a dog that was quite unwell. When a dog needs a blood transfusion it means they are not producing enough blood cells which causes anemia. The donated blood is introduced to the sick dog which replaces the blood cells so normal oxygenation can be returned to all the organs. Let’s hope Charlie’s blood can save another life☺️

Hi everyone, I thought I would post my price list, which I updated mid last year, to make it easier to view my prices instead of jumping online ☺️

Please read carefully when booking to ensure you select the correct service for your pet to allow enough time for me to complete them.

Some things to keep in mind;

BATH & TIDY is a service which dogs are brushed out, washed, dried and sanitary areas, feet & face are trimmed. Please don’t select this service if you are wanting your dog fully clipped.

BATH & BLOW only includes being brushed out, washed and blow dried (& nails trimmed). Please select this if a bath & blow dry is all you desire, this service does not include tidying or sc******ng of areas. Please ensure you select the correct, long hair or short hair option. If your having trouble deciding if your dog is long haired or shorthaired just shoot me a message and I can help you out 🛁

SUMMER SHAVES includes a complete shave down of entire body, washed & dried. This eliminates the brushing and de-matting as it is shaved off, hence the cheaper price than the bath & tidy. 🪒

I am hoping to purchase some scales soon to assist with the weights of your pets as I understand not everyone knows the exact weight of their dog. So for now please just give me your best estimate or pop them on the scales at their next vet visit. ⚖️

Please also consider the extras such as deshed or matting charges as if your dog is extremely matted, I need to allow a longer time period for completion.

It’s that time of year again. To help keep your dogs a little cooler this summer don’t forget to brush often to remove any of the loose hair, because they can hoard a lot.
Also something to try on those really hot days. Fill empty milk bottles with water and freeze them, cut the carton off and let your dogs have some fun while cooling down
