Wonderful weekend. We are so grateful to the wonderful young people in our lives. I made the wise decision that I am a little to old, slow and not agile enough to do the first ride on our young horses anymore. Enter Phoenix. Nina is Pumba's last foal ( 3 years old) she is super, super smart so needed someone who would challenge her but be firm. Phoenix would normally take a week to do what she accomplished in a weekend but she judged how Nina was going and handling things and she was able to get all the basics done before Nina has a year off to grow into herself and be a horse but with all the basic education under her belt. These two little munchkins have gone to a wonderful family with three teenagers who couldn't choose so took both of them. I love it when two go together as these pair were best buddies so nice for them to stay together.

Just thought we'd share some feedback from Tony and Sasha on their beautiful little boy Sunny. We spend alot of extra time and training early on with our puppies to help them make the transition into their new homes as seamless and stress free as possible. We love hearing from the new owners who become friends .
"We are very grateful for the early training you have him. Both Tony and I agree it has really helped him be independent so young. We hear lots of other people with puppies say they can’t leave them. We couldn’t manage oh yay t was the case. He doesn’t even come up stairs to our kitchen or bedroom. He knows downstairs is his domain and he is happy with that. He certainly isn’t lacking attention though. At night we put him to bed in his crate and he just knows that means bed time. He lets us know in the morning that it’s toilet time and we let him out into the garden. Like clockwork already. Chewing is pretty good. He has taken a liking to the garden so lots to chew out there. And he has his favourite chew toys 🦴
"He is sitting now before he gets his food too. Got it straight away. He is a fast learner. We have been leaving him at home on his own often too so he gets used to us coming and going. We leave the door leading out to the little garden open for him so he can come and go as he pleases. He knows that’s where he goes for a sun bake and for poos and wees. . He is very independent already and doesn’t cry when we go. Very self sufficient but loves the cuddles when we get home."

A little chilly here this morning so everyone is rugged up. Charlie ( the cavoodle) is here visiting while his family are on holidays. He fits straight in and loves being a farm doggy for a few days. Great for our puppies/ young dogs to interact with other dogs as well. So important to learn those early social skills

Two of our little Jackalier at their new homes. So blessed they have the most perfect owners. This is why we do what we do. The joy they have brought makes us so happy. I'll post a video as well of little Lulu who went a little further out west and Sunny went to the Sunshine Coast. Their brothers are still with us so if you know another perfect owner let us know

Just some training this morning. Bandit is going well with his training. Bandit is with us for a little while before he heads north so we are doing some basic training while he's here. JR are super smart and need the stimulation of having a job and training to keep those busy little minds occupied.

Some videos and photos of our little Jackalier litter. Sunny is heading to the Sunshine Coast with a wonderful couple who came and met him at 4 weeks. The little light coloured girl has a home so two little boys still available. Mum is our gorgeous girl Rosie ( Jack Russell) and Dad is Scout ( Cavalier).
