This gorgeous 12 year old girl has found a way to ramp up the fun level while she does her hydro for managing her advanced osteoarthritis. Thanks for letting us join in your joy in life Indy ❤️
Meet Kaos this senior Bull Arab has spent her life chaotically tearing around chasing wallabies, and generally having a ball but old age creeps us on us all and we are all working hard with Kaos aching limbs to keep her moving independently as her osteoarthritis increases in severity. Great work today brave girl ❤️
Introducing Miss Lottie who isn’t that thrilled with her actual hydrotherapy sessions but absolutely thinks it’s worth it if the pay off is searching for the deliciousness of the hidden liver when she has finished perfecting her gait😂
Percy strutting his way through rehab. This stubborn little man isn’t keen to start his sessions but applies himself to the task when he is in tank. Good work Percy 🥇
Snippet of a day in the life of a Canine Hydrotherapist❤️ these dogs are my super hero’s they are all working hard to achieve their goals whether it be just increasing their fitness or fighting back from disease or injury thy put their hearts and souls into their journeys. It is an absolute honour to work with them☺️
When the canine rehabber doesn’t practice what she preaches. Macey May after zoomie attack on vacuum on slippery surface without adequate mats😭
IMAGINE🤔💭 you are placed in a box and it fills with water up to your belly button and then the grounds moves beneath you at a whooping speed of 8.42 kilometres an hour and you do this for a solid 5 minutes. Mind blowing! This Hydrotherapist is truly in awe of this amazing canine who had smashed her previous speed record. The absolute precision, concentration and focus required doesn’t faze Trio much to my consternation she doesn’t even pant when the cycle stops😮
This beautiful soul was the first official patient at h2o4doggos Canine Hydrotherapy and she and her dedicated mum are an absolute pleasure to work with as Ali continues to live her best life with ‘Wobblers Disease’ . Careful conservative management has been thoroughly researched by her fantastic mum and is resulting in Ali living the best quality of life with this complex neurological disease🥰
Typical of his breed Percy does not like to surrender control and takes a bit of encouragement and a few specially selected treats to do his hydro but the persistence is paying dividends with great progress 17 weeks post IVDD surgery. His paw parents, Phillip and Andrea, commitment and diligence have been outstanding🥰
Archie was in yesterday afternoon continuing his work on improving his gait and increasing his muscle strength and overall fitness.
Percy 12 weeks post surgery IVDD. Percy loves a snuggle, cute as a button, but stubborn and likes to be in control! He has had a few weeks break from his hydro and it was a battle of the wills today. He eventually decided to walk the walk and even in the direction I asked him to😂
RECORD BREAKING PERFORMANCE!!
Last night Trio came for her fortnightly conditioning hydro session and I was absolutely gobsmacked. I have been working with Trio for approximately 12 months. Most dogs are tired after hydro but not our Trio, I can’t even get her to puff😂. In the video below Trio set a new clinic record going a whooping 7.78km per hour for 4 x 5 minute cycles. Still wasn’t exhibiting any accelerated respiration, mild temperature increase, moderate increase in circulation. Note Ali, Trio’s sibling checking she is ok❤️😃
