This workshop will detail the evidence base underpinning warm-up and cool-down exercises for dogs, with a practical demonstration and participant practice to ensure you come away with the skills to use these techniques in training and competition. This workshop is for people only, so please leave your dogs at home.

🐾 Terrific Trio: The Cairn Terrier, West Highland Terrier, & Mini Schnauzer! 🐾

These three small but mighty breeds are packed with personality, charm, and plenty of love to give! Let’s take a closer look at each of them:

✨ Cairn Terrier
🔹 Fun Fact: Known for their role as Toto in The Wizard of Oz, Cairn Terriers are curious and confident.
🔹 Personality: These little pups are bold, playful, and absolutely fearless. They love to explore and are super loyal to their families.

✨ West Highland Terrier (Westie)

🔹 Personality: These pups are bold, intelligent, and loving. They’re protective, making them great little watchdogs.
🔹 Why You’ll Love Them: Mini Schnauzers are incredibly affectionate and get along well with other pets and kids. Plus, their cute, distinctive appearance is hard to resist!

Reminder!
Your dog/cat does NOT necessarily need vaccinations EVERY YEAR. But an annual health check appointment is usually indicated. A lot can change in 1 year.
Please have a look at this graphic I created and do book an appointment during which we can discuss the individual needs of your pet.
Titre test can be really helpful too.
As the Australian Veterinary Association states :
"Vets should aim to reduce the vaccine load for each pet as long as it doesn't increase its risk of disease."
Being told to just give a C5 or F3 every year is no longer correct. Giving non core vaccination for Kennel Cough or FIV may not be indicated either.
Animals live in different scenarios, some are deemed low risk, some high risk.
I am very happy to discuss this with you in our 30 min consult.
If you are not a client of mine yet, please discuss this with your vet during the appointment.

Merope and Dudley the Wheaten terrier came to see Kat for some help with loose leash walking, jumping on guests and barking at dogs when out and about.

They were a super team and quickly learnt some new skills that they will use to help in all the areas.

Chompy and I are heading off to the Melbourne Dog lovers festival ✈️to compete in the Antinol Australia dock diving competition .
We are giving the extreme vertical jump a go this year as well . This means the dog has to jump up as high in the air as possible to sn**ch a bumper toy hanging from a pole.
I’ll post one of our training videos of that later 😉
I think Malinois were bred for this type of sport, they love the water and they are extreme athletes.
Send us all your good vibes on Saturday and Sunday as we try our best against some really skilled teams 🥰☺️
