The Sock Gobbler
The Sock Gobbler 🧦
Henry the beagle was searching for a snack when he came across a delicious sock. Unfortunately Henry ended up in surgery yesterday with Dr Leonora having an exploratory laparotomy to remove the sock (obstruction).
Great news Henry is home making a full recovery. 🥰

Springtime means grass seed season, and for something so tiny, they can cause a lot of big problems for your pet! The issues they can cause range from minor discomfort right through to potentially life-threatening conditions. If you cannot remove a grass seed from your pet’s coat (with your fingers, tweezers or scissors), give us a call to organise removal.

Sometimes when a pet is in pain, you may see subtle changes in their behaviour. Any changes in behaviour can be a sign of pain or other health issues and we recommend taking your furry family to see one of our veterinary team.
For our older pets, it is important that they are kept warm and comfortable during the cooler months. If you notice them struggling to move, it could be age-related diseases such as arthritis. If you are wanting more information on ways to keep your pet warm or have a senior pet that you would like to discuss, contact us today.
There is plenty of evidence to support that cuddling your cat is beneficial for your health. Make sure you hug your feline today. If your cat isn't into hugs - perhaps a high 5 or a pat! #HugYourCatDay 😻
