Muddy Waters (Blue Point) sang his way to success running down his paddock mate The Top Bar (Sessions). Winning the MacMahon Handicap in very snappy fashion breaking his maiden in only his third start. Trained by the team Morton Racing and beautifully ridden by Chris Parnham. Well done team.

There has never been a more deserving win than Lova Session’s (by Sessions) win yesterday at Belmont Park race 4. The sedulous mare gave Lucy Fiore a four length triumph ending Lova Session’s lengthy run of minor placings. A brilliant run by the little mare and a great ride Lucy. Well done to Durrant Racing and congratulations to our fellow owners and friends John and Jenny Maas.
Our stallion Sessions had a winning double at Belmont Park with Lova Session and Sensessional - Sensessional living up to his name with a sensational 5 in a row winning streak for trainers Grant and Alannah Williams at Williams Racing - congratulations to all his connections, he looks the real deal.

The rain really put a dampener on the races last Saturday but not before Silver Eye flew past the finishing line ahead of the pack under the guidance of Lucy Fiore. The 4 year old by Sessions is trained by the team at Durrant Racing
Later that night helping wash away those winter blues, our OPS home bred Bustling was crowned champion 2 year old and WA Horse of the year. Thank you to Morton Racing for the whirlwind ride with Bustling.
Triple Jay gave us a thrilling finishing burst in the rescheduled Blue Spec Stakes today. This was the big 5 year olds first try at the mile and Brad Parnham gauged the speed of the race perfectly. This gives Triple Jay 4 on the trot with Brad in the saddle. Trained by the team at Pearce Racing
In race 1 at Belmont Park Clint Johnston-Porter drove The Top Bar to his first victory. The 3 year old by Sessions is trained by Durrant racing.

It was back to back to back wins for Triple Jay in the feature race of the day, The Jockey Celebration Day Stakes. Splendidly ridden by Brad Parnham and trained by the team at Pearce Racing. Congratulations to all our connections on an exciting win.

The horse has let down into a beautiful stallion and is a must see. Adrian our stud manager will be trackside to answer any questions you may have.

We have been very quiet on social media as we have been busy getting ready for the fast approaching 2024 breeding/foaling season.
This is a shout out to our winners in recent weeks.

Triple Jay by Street Boss, won at Belmont on the 17th of July race 4. The big gelding was impressive with Brad Parnham in the driver’s seat. Trained by the team at Pearce Racing.

Famous Dain by Shamus Award broke his maiden in fine style at Bunbury on the 25th of July, race 4, with Chris Parnham in the saddle. Trained by the team at Pearce Racing.

Saturday of last week, Kings Salute by Kings Troop, saluted in pole position with Chris Parnham guiding him to an impressive victory.

Victorious in the first two year old race of the year winning Maribyrnong Trial (Listed) he also won the Talindert Stakes( Listed). INGRATIATING then continued on his two year old campaign running a gallant second behind Artorius, beating Anamoe in the G1 Blue Diamond (1200m) before running third in the coveted G1 Golden Slipper(1200m) to Stay Inside and Anamoe. INGRATIATING continued with his career at three winning G3 Vain Stakes (1000m) and a third in G1 Manikato. Running on at four to win the G3 Bletchingly Stakes (1200m), INGRATIATING ticks many boxes.

It’s been a stellar day for the team at Oakland Park Stud with two runners for two winners.
The first to carry the OPS colours was Triple Jay, winning Race 4 The Morley Growers Handicap. Great to see The Wizard back in Triple Jay’s saddle, cruising past the winning post with ease. Trained by the team Pearce Racing

The second to fly the flag was Sapphire Street, taking out the feature of the day The Sheila Gwynne Classic (Listed). Sapphire Street ran a humongous race and was balanced beautifully by apprentice Luke Campbell. Trained by the team Morton Racing
Both horses are by Godolphin gun stallion Street Boss.

The win over the weekend by our two year old Bustling (by Frosted) was exceptional. Winning by a margin of 4.2 lengths and running a blistering time of 01.09.06 annihilating the previous race record. Taking out the Karrakatta Plate G2 in such a manner was electrifying⚡️ Trained by the team at Morton Racing
We also must mention Blue Rocket (by Blue Point). The filly ran a brave race to finish 3rd in the Karrakatta Plate G2. Trained by the team at Pearce Racing.
It’s a real thrill to have two year olds like these youngsters, what an incredible start to their racing careers.
After the Karrakatta Plate was run all eyes were on the slot race The Quokka. We here at Oakland Park were beyond proud of the way Saloon Bar ( by Sessions) ran home for a courageous 5th. This brings Saloon Bar’s earnings to over $550,000. Saloon Bar is also trained by the Morton racing team.
To our loyal and dedicated team on the farm, reward for effort. It’s wonderful to share such success with you.

Lord Vampi put in one seriously tough run to win the last at Ascot. He’s a very exciting horse to follow as his full ability has yet to be revealed.

Dom To Shoot proved to be the toughest of the three on the finishing line. Beating eastern state invader Zaaki and local talented 3 year old Zipaway. Dom To Shoot is by Shooting To Win who relocated to us from Godolphin 18 months ago and it’s rather fitting that his first Aussie G1 winner would win the Drummond Golf-Northerly Stakes. Congratulations to owner/breeder Wally Daly, to Sean and Jake Casey on a tremendous training effort and to Jarrod Noske on a centimetre perfect ride 🤏👌 💥
