Friend or Foe?

These two little guys don’t know it yet but they are most likely going to be tough rivals on the track.
The foal on the left is by Street Boss and is out of multiple stakes winning home bred mare “ Ihts Closing Inn”. He hails from one of our best families and is the 3rd generation of said family to be born at Oakland Park.
The second foal is by our freshman sire Ingratiating and is out of stakes winning mare Rebel Rama. She herself won over $600k on the track.
Both of these foals are stellar types with copious amount of presence and shameless confidence. What a bright and exciting future these two c**ts have. So, for now these two are friends ❤️

Climb On Top were the instructions and Climb On Top he did. A gutsy win by the Oakland Park bred gelding taking out Race 2 at Belmont Park today. Climb On Top is by Demerit and was ridden perfectly by Willie Pike and trained by the team at Pearce Racing

Feast your eyes on this c**t by Ingratiating.He’s a half brother to speedster Acromantula, out of For Your Eyes Only. We really love the strength through this foal’s forearms and looks a really good type. Bred by Alan and Sue Olive at Gold Front Thoroughbreds. The best of luck with this youngster and we look forward to seeing him scorch up the track.

It was an eye catching run by the Durrant Racing trained son of Sessions “Silver Eye”. Taking out race 3, Morley Growers Market Handicap at Belmont Park in impressive fashion. Last at the 220 mark to win on the bridle by a length made for easy watching. Ridden by Clint Johnston-Porter and trained by the team at Durrant racing 💥

We are very pleased to find the crop of our freshman sire INGRATIATING are stunning, as good looking as INGRATIATING himself. Our first foal out of speedy home bred mare Sherpa Lass has set the bar high and we eagerly await more of these youngsters to hit the ground.

A great write up on our little farm in the South West.

Sessions has been enjoying a purple patch for Oakland Park Stud over in West Australia, siring two Listed winners in the past fortnight. The run continued when home-bred filly Fancy Red claimed the Listed Belmont Oaks in impressive fashion, delivering a memorable result for the stud.

Great day for our resident stallion Shooting To Win. Barely an hour after Payline ran a close 3rd in the G1 Doomben 10000, Wally Daly’s homebred “Camera Action” was the dominant winner of the 100k feature at Belmont. A brilliant ride by apprentice Brayden Gaerth and trained by Sean and Jake Casey. Congratulations to all involved🥂

Another Saturday metro double for our wonderful boy Sessions
After 2 winners last Saturday including the quinella in 5th at Ascot, Sessions backed it up today with an easy win by Jaz Session in the first followed by a dominant performance by Sail Session blitzing the field to win the JC Roberts Stakes in dazzling fashion. Onto the Melvista🤞
