Oakland Park Stud Thoroughbred breeding and agistment in North Jindong in the South West of WA. Everything we do is meticulously planned around achieving this goal.

Our goal at Oakland Park Stud is to breed racehorses capable of winning at Black Type level. Nothing is left to chance. We would like to think our record to date shows our efforts are working, having bred Australia’s fighting tiger, Northerly – Australian Horse of the Year, two-time winner of the Cox Plate, Caulfield Cup, two Australian Cups and Railway Stakes. Our other stars include Marasco (Mak

ybe Diva Stakes), Shirazamatazz (WA Derby), Covertly (Railway Stakes) and Roman Time (Karrakatta Plate and Sires Produce Stakes. Other Black Type gallopers include Grand Nirvana, Paris Petard, Jestatune, All Friared Up, and our latest Group 1 winner Ihtsahymn. Breeding winning thoroughbreds is what we have been doing for 20 years. So when you go to the Sales and buy a yearling with the XX5 brand, you can be assured we have done what we can to get you into the winner’s circle.

We are very pleased to find the crop of our freshman sire INGRATIATING are stunning, as good looking as INGRATIATING himself. Our first foal out of speedy home bred mare Sherpa Lass has set the bar high and we eagerly await more of these youngsters to hit the ground.

Sessions has been enjoying a purple patch for Oakland Park Stud over in West Australia, siring two Listed winners in the past fortnight. The run continued when home-bred filly Fancy Red claimed the Listed Belmont Oaks in impressive fashion, delivering a memorable result for the stud.

Another Saturday metro double for our wonderful boy Sessions
