Hey Folks, this post is all about risk protection. Aquarium heaters should never be 100% trusted to operate reliably.

In this case the heater malfunctioned and overheated the water, killing all the fish.

ALWAYS install a thermocontrol device that monitors your heaters performance. It will turn off your heater in the event that it malfunctions. Available at Clarity aquarium services of course:)

As always the tank was returned to Clarity:)

This pleco has a suspected vitamin deficiency. Injecting with supplements was the treatment suggested by Dr Richmond Loh (The fish Vet). Administering the shots was interesting and fun (for all you fish nerds, injection site was pelvic fin area)

A tank might look relatively clean, but in removing ornaments and disturbing the gravel we see there can be fish waste hiding, slowly dissolving into the water increasing your nitrate levels which feeds algae growth. We leave no stone unturned in this colourful tank in Nollamara.

This Aquarium in Spearwood had a little algae problem. The owner was too busy to give the tank a deep clean, so we took care of it. All ready to add new fish! 🐠
