1 very good reason to choose a Eungai pup.

My puppy's are desensitised to frightening sounds as soon as their ears open.

It is so distressing to see dogs stressed out, having to be drugged & many lost due to fireworks, thunderstorms etc.

A little bit of time & knowledge can make the difference for the lifetime of your dog.

Beware ...,!!!
Unfortunately - puppy farming & 'just the one for the kids education' breeding happens too often- usually without considering extensive health testing, temperament assessment or time & energy to socialise pups. Living In concrete kennels & without love & attention 🥺 Labradoodles unfortunately are affected by puppy farmers. Please take care to check the breeder is registered, has positive reviews, a website & is kosher.

PUPPY FARMING 👎🏻👎🏻

Sadly this practice is alive and thriving in WA.

We can track the origins of a number of retrievers back to the same groups of people who we’d class as puppy farmers..

The things we regularly see in common with these dogs - behavioural issues and/or health issues and:
- Dogs are kept in concrete pens or in sheds/barns
- Dogs that are rarely socialised and not well adjusted to life outside the tiny world they’ve been exposed to
- Dogs being used to have litter after litter, far above the regulatory guidelines
- Not giving the dog the appropriate vet care it needs
- Mixing breeds and giving them a fancy name (ie Goldador) and passing them off as purebred…they are a cross breed dog and nothing more
- Calling dogs purebred when they do not have Mains or Limited Register papers

Tactics used by puppy farmers, to cover their tracks include:
👎🏻 Approaching you via gumtree if you post looking for a dog
👎🏻 Selling a dog on gumtree with vague information or details that don’t add up
👎🏻 Supplying a pet shop with their pups
👎🏻 Selling or rehoming dog on behalf of ‘breeder’
👎🏻 Advising they’ll drop the dog off to you (thereby preventing you from seeing the puppy farming conditions) or saying you can come to their home instead of the ‘breeders’ home
👎🏻 Playing on the emotions of potential buyers by creating a sob story and saying the dog urgently needs a new home (therefore not giving you time to investigate or consider your decision rationally)
👎🏻 Advertising the dog for ‘rehoming’ on dubious sources including random groups here on Facebook

WHAT CAN YOU DO
✅ Report the seller and their post
✅ Do your research - buyer beware
✅ By buying a dog from a puppy farmer, you are supporting them to ‘stay in business’ and continue this abhorrent trade - consider whether this aligns with your ethics and values
✅ Source your next dog from a registered ethical breeder (see Dogs West or dogzonline.com) or a reputable and ethical rescue where full disclosure about a dog and its history is given freely
