We're Hiring | Part Time Casual Groom and/or Feed-up person
We are a boutique equine property in Oakdale NSW (10min from Picton, 20min from Camden) looking for a reliable individual to join us preferably for both jobs, however, we are open to multiple individuals joining us.
🐴 Groom Role
3 hours/day. Preferably 3 days/week. Hours and days can be negotiated.
Duties include:
▪️ Grooming and tacking up horses
▪️ Mucking out stables
▪️ Cleaning and maintaining gear
▪️ General barn upkeep and assistance maintaining yards and paddocks
🌟 Possibility of show grooming if interested 🌟
Applicant must have good horse handling and management skills as you will be working with performance horses as well as young horses.
🌾 Feed Up Role
2 hours/day. Hours and days can be negotiated.
Duties include:
▪️ Feeding
▪️ Rugging
▪️ Mucking out stables
Successful applicant/s will be:
▪️ Honest and reliable
▪️ Neat, tidy and organised with excellent attention to detail
▪️ Good learner
▪️ Able to work confidently unsupervised
▪️ Hold a license/Able to drive a vehicle
▪️ You will be joining a small team, being able to share responsibility is a must.
Previous experience within the horse industry is preferable, however you may still apply if you believe you have relevant experience and are willing to learn.
