🌹Rosie🌹
15yo QH Mare
Unreg and cannot be.
14.2 unmeasured
This is a very sad sale on behalf of a valued client. Rosie is a very loved mare that has has helped gain the confidence of a beginner rider who is now ready to step up.
Rosie has been there and done that, everything from PC to jumping to cow work. She has been mainly used for barrel racing this last year and her owners would love to see her go on to a home that is more whoa than go. She is a forward moving mare and has excelled under instruction, but probably wouldn’t be suitable for a very beginner without help as she is very smart. Shes easy to do everything with and has no bad habits.
She has been willing to go and do everything and would excel at being that confident trail mount or ranch horse that can be pulled out of the paddock once in a blue moon and be just the same as if it was everyday.
Inspections and vet checks are always welcome by appointment.

Roggie just out here livin his best life while getting fat shamed on the internets…☠️😂
Why is it that the horse is always too much horse?
How come it’s never that the rider is not enough rider? 🤔
These 2 little rippers are still looking for a new 🏡!
Since we’re having withdrawals from staying home this weekend, here’s RGB’s run from Brymaroo running an 88. 👌🏻❤️
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! 🎄🎅🏼
Hope your year is like a paddock full of good horses… ❤️
This gem from a year ago is worthy of a reshare…
Imagine bringing your horse home from the horse trainer and saddling this for the first time. 🫣

🎤Elvis 🎤
14.1 HH
6YO
Welsh X (Unreg/exact breeding unknown)
Black Gelding
We’ve had Elvis approximately 2 years I believe this past September. We bought him and started him and he’s been slow going over the last few years. He was just bushed the last 9 months and just brought back in last week. I feel now he’s finally in a place where he can be moved onto someone that can point him in whatever direction they please. However, that is probably a very specific person that would be suitable for him. He needs someone that has great feel for a sensitive horse.
The best way to describe him as that he has big feelings. I am happy to elaborate fully for the serious buyer.
Elvis would not suit:
-children
-beginners
-someone wanting to start riding after any sort of hiatus.
-someone who will 💩 their pants if he has a buck after having time off.
-someone who doesn’t understand what a green horse is. If you ask me if he can buck then this means you…
-furthermore, someone who doesn’t understand how much consistency a green horse like him needs.
-someone that doesn’t understand that probably every situation he’s in after he leaves here is probably a first for him (the definition of a green horse).
-someone who is not confident in all aspects.
I will not sell him to just anyone, we will keep poking along with him if needed. However, I feel that he could make an excellent project for the right person; he’s a beautiful mover, not to mention just gorgeous to look at.
He’s located in Rosalie Plains, Q.

I guess there was a reason we never threw in the towel on Ironman.
Jaz has been coming for lessons the last few months and has been super dedicated to learning all aspects of horses and training. So we thought she was the perfect handy kid to continue to work with Ironman.
It certainly helps that she has the amount of feel a real horseman needs, the kind that you can’t teach someone.
We’ve had Ironman for a year now, he rides decently with Grant but he has a real mental block most days. He’s not been at an acceptable stage to continue training as he’s not receptive to what you’re trying to teach him. Anymore pressure and you would just flood him.
So Jaz has taken over and spent nearly all day everyday just spending time with him and today was day one for her in the round yard. She’s already knocked down so many walls and built the trust we’ve been trying to work on. It’s the type of thing that just needs time, time we don’t always have.
It’s been double the learning at the moment as Jaz has gotten to watch the first babies being started and getting to apply what she’s been watching. She is keen for knowledge and works hard to get it right.
I can’t wait to see where we go from here and it’s been a lot of fun to coach from the sidelines as needed but let the both of them figure it out together.
