Rambo is a sweet horse who is educated to Elementary level. He has been shown by his previous owner in the Eastern States with many accolades in show/breed classes and was purchased by his current owner as a schoolmaster for her husband to learn on. Unfortunately he is no longer riding (through no fault of Rambo), and she has her own horse so he is sitting in the paddock going to waste. Despite his size, he doesn’t move big and is obedient/genuine/honest, ideal for someone wanting to learn the ropes.
Rambo has been in work for approx 7 weeks now, however he is still lacking a little in muscle tone/condition but is coming along well and has proven to be quiet and sensible thus far, even in the summer easterlies. Forward but quiet on the trails.
Easy to catch, shoe, float (angle or straight), respectful at feed times, great to handle, a true pleasure to have around and ride.

Mojo is an eye-catching galloway who has been educated and shown by a young teenager between 2018-2022. He attended Pony Club regularly, as well as Transitions Dressage Club and competed up to Novice level with scores in the high 60’s, while training Elementary at home.
Most summers he has been a regular beach goer and also enjoys trail riding. He has no issues along the Comic Court Circuit trail that runs along the busy Thomas Rd and has even been used as a lead pony for less experienced or anxious horses.
Although Mojo is quiet, he is also a very sensitive horse who requires a calm handler and a balanced rider with an independent seat and hand. He has jumped and evented to 80cm however he can get over bold/strong if not managed between fences and for this reason he hasn’t jumped since mid 2021 as his riders focus was on dressage.
He is generally good to do all things with, but can be ‘jumpy’ if startled (usually only by people on the ground moving unexpectedly or quickly towards him), but will not pull away or come over you.
He has been clipped with and without sedation, floats well, is good for farrier (has only ever been trimmed), fine with worming and respectful at feed time. He can have some ‘stranger danger’ and may take a few minutes to catch if he is not familiar with you. With consistent work and handling he does become less timid.
Unfortunately he spent a large part of 2022 out of work, for reasons which I am happy to discuss with any serious and suitable potential buyers, and he resumed work at the end of January 2023 where he has been going kindly thus far and working at Prelim level towards Novice again.

Mojo has references upon request from well respected professionals who have worked with him.

Videos of yourself riding and references from coaches or other industry professionals will be required before viewings are arranged as this pony is very special to his current owners and requires a home that can understand and accomodate his quirks. We feel that Mojo would be happiest in a consistent environment and routine that cannot be guaranteed at an agistment centre so for this reason we would prefer buyers who have their own property.

🦄🦄🦄 Giselle the Unicorn put her best foot forward all day for her first dressage tests and showjumping rounds.

A little green and wobbly in the Prelim (👀 the letters!) but settled into the test well and managed to top the score board against 20 other horses. She came back out for the Novice at the end of the day and felt a lot more confident around the arena for another win 💙
Her 40cm was a little sticky but we got around closest to optimum time so another blue ribbon for her, and then again came back more focused for a nice clear and steady 50cm class, however we obviously took some shorter lines as we were about 10 seconds too fast 😂 and ended up 5th.

Pixie is a 7yo bay mare by Furstenball out of 2* eventer Kirby Park Masquerade (Irish Sport Horse x Stock Horse). Her estimated height is 15.3hh.

Pixie is a modern and athletic type who has thus far shown herself to be quiet under saddle, after returning to work in January 2023 having not been ridden since March 2022 due to owner/rider injury.

She has been lightly schooled since being started, and is now ready to go on with. Sired by Furstenball, who needs no introduction to Dressage enthusiasts, with her dam having competed successfully to 2* Eventing and 1.25 SJ, Pixie is bred to be versatile and excel in multiple disciplines. She has an expressive trot and uphill canter.
Pixie is still green under saddle due to her limited workload to date but is showing promise and progressing each week. She is currently unshod and in full work.

Hi everyone!

Coming into 2023 I have made some changes to the day to day running of my business in order to use my time and energy more efficiently.

One of the main changes is that I will no longer be travelling off property to teach.
I understand that this is a big change and sadly one that not everyone will be able to accommodate. This has certainly not been an easy decision to make but it is essential for my time management and work/life balance. It allows me to teach more effectively, control the lesson environment, means that riders have an appropriate riding space in which to learn (fenced and reticulated full size river-sand surfaced arena, jump course, round yard) and as a nice bonus the horses get used to travelling and being off property in a calm/low key environment.
Everyone will have first option of their current appt times, but if they are no longer suitable due to these changes then I can advise of other available times.
Latest start time for lessons is now 4:30pm as I have evening commitments outside of work this year which mean that I need to be finished at 5:30pm.

- Please arrive early enough to ensure that you are tacked up and ready to ride for your booked time, I’ll be scheduling lessons close together so won’t be able to go over time to make up for a late start.

- 24 hour cancellation policy will be in effect. This applies to ALL bookings (lessons/schooling/mane pulling/facility hire).
Cancellation fees will not apply for lessons or schooling in extreme weather conditions (see below).

- Lessons and schooling will only go ahead in temperatures below 35°. If your appt time is above this temperature or if thunderstorms are forecast, you have the option to reschedule to a suitable time during the same week if available (or cancel without fee).

Facility Hire:
- Full Arena 27x60m - $20/horse/hour

As usual, after school/work spots are in high demand and limited in availability but I’m happy to take a wait list in case anything opens up.
Casual bookings are always welcome, however, the only way to guarantee a spot is to book as a regular.
