Thank you all for your interest in shadow, shadow has found a home.
Shadow is a well started 3 year old (4 in
November) kelpie x border collie female. Shadow has a well started stop, sides (over, clockwise) (back , anticlockwise) and call off. I’ve used her on cattle, sheep and in the yards. Shadow has already done a few big days and has moved some big mobs of sheep but can still get confused with big mobs. She has started backing. She’s done a little bit of driving but is still learning not to go to the head. Shadow will suit someone that wants to take her on every job (the fence line, chopping wood, checking stock). She will suit someone with patience, that doesn’t mind a dog messing up every now and then.

I’ve only owned shadow since December 2022. She was a town dog that had never seen Stock before, after a few looks she was addicted and took to training very well. When I got Shadow she had a bad habit of barking in the cage/on the chain. She has gotten a little bit better, I’m currently teaching her to bark on command to see if that will help.
