I'm Evie and I offer Pet sitting services in Ocean shores and surrounding areas (South Golden, Byron, Ballina)
I've cared for a huge range of pets, including older dogs needing regular medication, cats, large dogs and fish.
My services include general dog walking, caring for pets at the owners home (walks, playtime, grooming, giving medicine, overnight stays, general house and land upkeep) or even if you need someone to pop in to feed your babies or have a play whilst you're at work 😊
I lived in Tasmania for a year where I completed an online certificate for Pet Care. I lived close to an airport so I had a lot of owners wanting me to care for their fur babies whilst they went away. After moving to the Ocean Shores area a few months ago I was so pleased to still be receiving interest.
I like to sound professional and use words like 'services' and 'duties' but I certainly do not see animals as a job. The jobs I listed are the bare minimum for me, I really do like to go above and beyond for people's pets. I treat them like my own and never fail to give them extra love and attention.
I know that a lot of people don't like the idea (or the price) of putting their pets in Kennels, and how important it is that you can go away and relax knowing your baby is in safe hands. I send regular pictures and updates to the owners and let them know how we're doing, and I've always received great feedback.
I do charge for my time, however it's very dependent on the circumstance and will always be cheaper than a Kennel.
