We’re excited to announce a Free Cat Desexing Program for residents who live near the Pitt Water-Orielton Lagoon area! This initiative, brought to you by Sorell Council, TassieCat, Ten Lives, and Hobart Community Veterinary Hospital, aims to support responsible cat ownership and protect our precious native wildlife.

😺 Who’s Eligible?
Priority for this program is given to those living closest to the area, with availability for other areas in the Sorell Municipality based on capacity.

👉 Why This Program?
Our survey in Midway Point showed a high rate of cat desexing but also highlighted financial barriers. This program is here to help families in need, ensuring better welfare for cats and a healthier environment for all.
