π΄ GRASS SEEDS π΄
With the warmer months here, and our extremely dry conditions at the moment we want to remind everyone to keep an eye out for grass seeds, which can easily get lodged in your horseβs eyes. These tiny seeds can cause irritation, infection, and even damage if not treated promptly.
Here is a lovely patient of ours who had not one, but three grass seeds removed from his eye by Dr Lucas.
If you notice squinting, excessive tearing, or your horse rubbing its eyes and you suspect a grass seed, please give us a call at the clinic on (08) 8280 7947
