This reel is your reminder to book one of our few remaining groom 🐩or wash 🧼spots for 2025!

They won’t last very long as we’re seeing pawrents booking online at all hours ~ waking up in the middle of the night stuff ~ so get in quick!

After that we have a well earned break and return to daycare and the salon on Monday Jan 5th.

🐾 WE’RE HIRING: DOGGIE DAYCARE ASSISTANT 🐾

Location: Orange NSW | Hours: 16 hrs/week to start (more for the right person)

At Diesel & Blue, we’re a small, tight team — every role matters, every shift counts and there’s no fluff (except on the dogs).

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you’ll:
• Care for and supervise dogs of all shapes, sizes and personalities
• Keep play areas clean, safe and running smoothly (yes, that includes wee and p**p - it’s part of the gig!)
• Communicate clearly with teammates and follow established routines and safety procedures
• Move, lift and handle up to 20kg confidently
• Think on your feet and adapt to a busy, ever-changing day

We’ll teach you everything you need to know - but you’ll need to bring:
✅ A genuine love for dogs and basic understanding of dog behaviour
✅ Confidence around dogs of all temperaments
✅ Reliability and pride in your work
✅ A fit, can-do attitude
✅ The ability to work independently and as part of a small, supportive team

Experience working with dogs is a big plus, but not essential if you’ve got the right attitude and willingness to learn we want to meet you.
