Did you know that the OCC are currently seeking feedback from community members about what you consider to be the important areas for them to focus on in their next term of government.

It’s been a long time since the domestic animals of Orange City have been a focus so this is our chance to ask for some change.

Do you have concerns about loose dogs on the streets? Feral cats and the challenges they pose to our wildlife? The overrun pound in Orange and many that are closed about the Central West? Off and on leash areas for dogs to socialise? Backyard breeders and puppy & kitten farms which are currently saturating the market with unwanted puppies and kittens?

Please take this opportunity to let our Council know by having your voices heard so that funding can be allocated to the areas that we care about .

There’s only a couple more weeks left to head to their website and comment on the CSP.

There's only a couple more weeks left to fill out the survey so take a moment to hit the link below.

A Community Strategic Plan (CSP) is developed after every local government election to guide the Council during the next term. It is our highest-level plan and translates the community’s desired outcomes for the city into key goals. An extensive consultation process

Doggie Daycare isn't just so your dawg can have a fabulous time!

It also helps when pawrents need some time to do their own things while being comforted with the knowledge that their fur-baby is well looked after at D&B ❤

~OCTOBER DOG OF THE MONTH!~

Beautiful little Jasmine takes the Dog of the Month award for October!! We love how sociable you are with our pack members and how you're always such a fantastic taxi passenger!

So many nominations each month and it’s always hard to choose a winner. As far as we’re concerned we love them all and everyone’s a winner at D&B 💙💕🐕

~DID YOU KNOW~

Many people assume that growling is always a sign of aggression, but that’s not necessarily true!

Dawgs also growl when they’re excited, playful, or enjoying themselves, such as during a game of tug-of-war or when they’re engaging with a favorite toy.

~WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PUPPY AND CAFE CLASS?~

Puppy Class is tailored for puppies aged 8 weeks to 6 months, focusing on foundational training and socialization. Each class progressively builds on the previous one, equipping both the puppy and the pawrent with essential skills for long-term development and behavior.

Cafe Class, on the other hand, is intended for dogs aged 6 months or older, aiming to refine skills learned in Puppy Class to navigate social settings confidently, with specialized assistance tailored to individual needs discussed with the our trainer.

While Puppy Class fosters early socialization and basic training, Cafe Class refines these skills to prepare dogs for real-world interactions in bustling environments, emphasizing adaptability and confidence.

Puppy and Cafe Class bookings now available online today or call us for support!

~ Check your dawgs ears regularly and clean them as needed

~ Daily or regular dental care is essential to maintain your dawgs oral health and can be managed in a variety of ways!

Our Story?

Our story began after Founder Danielle moved to beautiful Orange with her sidekick Blue. She wanted him to have some company in their new home and rescued Diesel, a sooky Staffie with a lot of love to give.

Diesel’s big heart means he likes to be around humans and needs lots of company and attention so Danielle wanted to find a place that he and Blue could be supervised and stimulated together every day.

As a new resident of Orange, she asked fellow dog owners about pet sitting or dog care facilities in town. They didn’t know of any, but they were definitely interested! They told her they loved their dogs like members of the family and would be so excited about giving them somewhere safe that they could have play. Danielle soaked in their comments and it sparked something inside of her.

There was a need here. Not just for her own fur-babies but for so many dogs in Orange.
