Just a reminder that the kennels are closed from tomorrow the 3rd Aug until the 19th August.

Tomorrow is the big lock chop date, but I have decided to stay home and lop them off during the day instead.

Hello everyone,
As much as I love looking after your dogs, cats and being my own boss, but whilst I have no staff, I'm finding it difficult to spend quality time with my family on weekends. and as everyone keeps telling me, babies don't keep.
Hence this year, my plan was to only take bookings 6 weeks prior to boarding but this has raised some concerns through feedback with clients, which I can understand. with much thought, I've decided to take all bookings as far ahead as you need, but in order to enjoy my young son (1 on Monday!!) if I need some regular time off, I will personally let you know AT LEAST 6 weeks in advance. I will indeed be on the lookout for staff in the future, but whilst my health hasn't bounced back after the pre-eclampsia, I, unfortunately won't be as reliable this year as I have been the past 9 years.
I truly hope everyone understands as this will ensure the longevity of me being able to provide this service for many years in the future.

Everyone's had a great day, and I've got a few special treats for them all in the morning.
Absolutely no concerns, they're all fantastic.

We have come to love Tippy, but have come to the conclusion that his need for activity and companionship is probably frustrated by our suburban back yard so are looking to rehome him to a more suitable situation.
He has a lot of Love… At times he thinks he is a “Lap dog” and tries to sit on your lap… He can just do that if you are big enough… He loves to run.. and run…
I gets on well with kids but I believe he would be just as happy with adults and perhaps kennel mates. I think he would be keen to work if some training put in.
At present we are housing him with Tegan at Country Myals until a long term solution is found.

Good morning everyone!
The kennels will reopen this Saturday, 1st July.
I have a few messages and inquiries to get through, so please bear with my late replies.

I will still open 7 days a week apart from public holidays, although opening hours have changed.

Monday - Friday - 7:30am - 9:00am
- 4:30pm - 6:00pm

Saturday - 7:30am - 9:00am only.

Sunday - 4:30pm - 6:00pm

This provides me with a little bit more work/family balance , Thankyou for your understanding.

I will now only be able to take bookings for approximately 6 weeks in advance until I can find a weekend manager outside of school holidays. Bookings available now for September/Oct school holidays.

Again thankyou for your understanding as this gives me flexibility with my family.

Hi there everyone,
Some pretty big news.

Our baby decided to come just over 5 weeks early and throw a beautiful spanner in the works.
Apologies to those were relying on late January bookings.

Baby is doing really well thanks to the team at OHS Maternity Ward and Special Care Nusery, absolute angels.

One last thing. Please give a big shout out to my mum Debbie for taking over last minute. I'm sure she's feeling the pressure and I just wanted to thank her publicly for all that she has done. Running the kennels, and back and forth from home to hospital. She's my hero.

There are some really special people out there, whom I am lucky to call not just clients, but friends. And some who I didn't realise worked at the hospital.

Good morning everyone.
Next year in February I'll be expecting my first baby!
I'll be closing the kennels for a few months from Jan 31st 2023.
This means unfortunately that I won't be taking any Easter bookings next year. Nor will I be taking bookings during my maternity leave.
I'm still figuring out how long I can take, but rest assured we'll be back open before you know it. Thankyou for everyone's support while I start my little family.

Meet Poppy. She's a lovely dog to board, She's been out many times. Very polite and gentle. Here's a word from Anne.

-We have a beautiful, black 7 year old female Labrador, called Poppy, that we sadly need to rehome as we are moving to Sydney early next year. She has a lovely nature around children but gets very anxious on the lead when around other dogs. She is great off the lead at the dog park.
