This little girl is all set to jet off to her new home this week. She will go to Melbourne by road, catch a flight to Adelaide and finish the journey to the Eyre Peninsula by road.

Cats pups are 4 and a half weeks old and are getting big and playful. They had their warm breaky at 5.30 and were playing under the heater.

We sadly lost little Mouse over night. He just couldn’t do it. He was resuscitated at birth, and despite our efforts to keep him going we lost the battle.

Update on Cat and the puppies: everyone is doing very well, we’ve been bottle feeding all 11 pups all night and day and then they go on Cat for a suckle. Cat has been very flat and sleepy. This afternoon she’s been licking the pups and nudging them in place when they head off, she’s also much chirpier and eating and drinking well. Still lots of room for improvement but she’s getting stronger as the day goes on. Thanks for the lovely messages from everyone who understand that the dogs are family and this has been a stressful 24 hours ❤️

11 puppies!!
6 boys and 5 girls.
The Team at Snowy River Vet Clinic saved the day, and no doubt lots of lives, by performing an emergency caesarean this afternoon. All are doing well, fingers crossed things go well in the coming days ❤️❤️
