Congratulations to our very own Graham Jachmann on receiving his 10-year service medal from the CFS. Mulbarton have always supported the CFS with many of our staff completing their training over the years to become first responders and firefighters 🚒

With a waiting room of 7.69 million square kilometres, the RFDS provides 24-hour aeromedical emergency services that can reach anywhere, no matter how remote, within hours. In 2018, they came to our very own Phil Giles, who himself had spent years being a first responder. If you have 45 minutes to spare, listen to this inspirational podcast with Phil and the RFDS.

Thanks to Tatiara Business Association for hosting a wonderful event. It was such a privilege to be awarded with the Environmental Award!

On Friday night, the Tatiara Business Association held their Business Awards of Excellence dinner for 2023. It was a wonderful opportunity to network and celebrate the amazing local businesses in the Tatiara.

We also had the privilege of hearing from our guest speaker Mark Squirrell, widely known as Mark 'Squiz' Squirrell OAM. Mark's exceptional achievements include being awarded the prestigious "Green Beret" during his service with the Australian Commandos. He has also made a significant impact globally, working with the United Nations and various Aid Agencies as an International Aid Worker. His humanitarian efforts have taken him to places such as Somalia, Yemen, Sudan, Afghanistan, and Palestine.

Additionally, Mark has successfully climbed numerous mountains, including reaching the summit of Mount Everest in 2006. Recognising his outstanding contributions, he was honoured with the Order of Australia Medal (OAM) for his "service to the international community through humanitarian aid." Mark has captured his remarkable experiences in his memoir titled "From Arafat to Everest."

We are excited to be a part of the AORA (Australian Organics and Recycling Association) educational event in Coonawarra on the 16th of June. Our team will be in attendance and would encourage anyone in the agricultural field to attend this day covering:
 *   Organic amendments, compost and the like
 *   Soil biology, how we can apply understanding to plant performance
 *   Site visit, macrofauna as an indicator of soil health and grower experience applying compost

What a load! A whopping 56 tonnes of grapes in these tippers. Our driver Graham expertly reversed his road train combination onto the crusher perfectly between the lines.

For those of you who struggle with one trailer this big rig is like having 3! Well done Graham! 👍🏻
