On January 1st, 2023, Ian and Vicki commenced operating Sires on Ice, Victoria, providing the same service and services – progesterone testing; Vaginal AI’s; collection, assessment and freezing of semen and the management of semen storage.
Norm will also be assisting Ian and Vicki to help with continuity during the changeover.
Ian (a lot of you may have already met) will continue to provide reproduction solutions for you.
Vicki will be taking over the role of administration and assisting Ian with reproduction services for you and your beloved dog/s.

They are both passionate about dogs too, (they also have 3 very loved and spoilt Wheaten Terriers) and are looking forward to meeting you to begin assisting with your reproduction goals.
Ian and Vicki will be managing all semen currently stored at the facility. The tanks will be maintained with the same integrity.
Storage fees are $30 per breeding unit, per year for semen collected at Sires on Ice, Victoria. Storage fees are $50 per breeding unit, per year for any semen received from other facilities.
If you have any semen stored with Sires on Ice in Victoria, it will remain in Pearcedale VIC 3912 at the new facility address which can be provided upon request.
Sadly, Norm Jessup has retired from Sires on Ice, Victoria on 31st December 2022. Norm has been dedicated to the business since 1999 and has worked 7 days a week to provide successful outcomes for your breeding programs. Inevitably, the time has come for Norm to move on and spend more time with family and friends, away from the busy day to day lifestyle this type of career demands.
As some are aware, Alisha has relocated to northern New South Wales this year and will continue coordinating the domestic semen transports at the same capacity.
If for any reason you choose to relocate semen you currently have stored at Sires on Ice Victoria, you can contact Alisha to organise a transport.
Please consider other facilities may be at capacity with their storage, we suggest contacting the receiving facility to discuss prior to arranging a transport.
As of January 1st, 2023, Sires on Ice, Victoria will be charging a $50.00 release fee per dog and will require a release form to be completed by the owner to authorise any semen to be transported out of the facility.
