EMRT™ Practitioners go through a thorough 2 year training programme and are registered and bound by strict Ethics and Code of Conduct set out by Equus College of Learning and Research (ECL&R),Australia. EMRT™ Practitioners maintain annual internationa

l registration in BTAA,ECL&R & National Bowen Association. Internationally trainers and competitive riders use EMRT™ on a maintenance level to keep their horses supple and balanced. EMRT™ is designed to put the body back into alignment on all levels allowing the horse to achieve optimum health and therefore performance. EMRT™ does not replace veterinary treatment and works in conjunction with your vet. EMRT™ is the only accredited Bowen Therapy for horses world wide with the Bowen Therapy Association of Australia and has 15 years of solid research behind it. EMRT™ is a therapy allowed by the FEI and EFA to be used on the day of an event. Horses are athletes and are subjected to stress and strain which creates underlying problems which in turn produces the horse's physical symptoms. EMRT™ works on the cause helping to alleviate the symptoms. EMRT™ is a holistic therapy which works on the Central Nervous System to bring the whole body back into a natural state of balance and homeostatis. An EMRT™ session/treatment consists of gentle, rolling, sequential moves over key points of the horses body. EMRT™ has been designed to help the body to reprogram to its natural state of health on the physical, bio-energetic and mental/emotional levels. Physically this allows the tissues to return to their flexible state and for natural muscular, skeletal, circulatory and neural activity to resume. EMRT™ was the therapy used for the gold medal winning Australian Endurance Team (World Cup France 2000), in Olympic showjumping and Dressage, class 1 and Grand National racing winners, WC Polo and Cutting. I am also a qualified Bowtech practitioner, which is the original Bowen therapy for people. Bowtech is very helpful for horse riders, it improves posture, balance and timing. If your body is out of balance your horse will feel it and compensate, therefore you could be causing the muscular imbalances in your horse. It is advisable to treat both the horse and the rider for optimum performance.

Shrimpy came for his follow-up Ccmrt session today.
He has been on crate rest for his sore back and is much feeling better. He did lots of stretching and yawning during his session, then fell asleep. Most of the cases I help come for leg or back injury. I also help many dogs with anxiety.

Spent my Sunday helping doggo's with their pain issues. Big George flaked out after I worked on his jaw. Shrimpy the corgi felt better after his session for a sore back and is eating again.

Happy International Dog Day!
These are just a few of my special doggie friends I have helped with CCmrt Cat & Canine Muscle Release Therapy. This therapy is very helpful for dogs recovering from surgery, accidents, behavioural issues, palliative care and traumatised rescue dogs. Very gentle and totally non invasive, yet effective!

Daisy and Finn are good friends, and they play hard. They came today for their maintenance Ccmrt (Cat & Canine Muscle Release Therapy) to keep their muscles soft and supple, which prevents injury . Ccmrt is a holistic therapy which works on all the body systems. It helps with physical, mental and emotional issues.

You might be forgiven for thinking it’s all about the labradoodles but greyhounds still need your help!

Please sign this petition to ask the MPs to pursue an Inquiry into wholly unacceptable rates of violent on and off track deaths, cruelly injured and prematurely euthanised dogs in the publicly funded Tasmanian greyhound racing industry.

It is because of these fatalities and ongoing suffering that RSPCA, Dogs Homes of Tasmania and multiple other mainstream animal welfare organisations deem greyhound racing to be inherently and irredeemably cruel.

A record e-petition to Parliament opposing this State-subsidised cruelty was presented in 2022 but the deaths, injuries and welfare breaches have continued. The voices of the 13.5k petitioners have now been joined by 80 per cent of Tasmanians who oppose taxpayer funded greyhound racing. (EMRS state-wide poll October 2023).

Amidst the ongoing cost of living crisis in Tasmania the community is entitled to expect that essential government services will be prioritised ahead of handouts to an increasingly marginalised, declining and scandal ridden industry that treats sentient beings as disposable commodities.
