When you’re giving us a good old belly rub, you may notice some lumps and bumps under our skin.
That’s a good time to Book in for a Seniors Pet Health Check-Up because early detection helps. (But finish the belly rub first please).

Springtime means grass seed season, and for something so tiny, they can cause a lot of big problems for your pet! The issues they can cause range from minor discomfort right through to potentially life-threatening conditions. If you cannot remove a grass seed from your pet’s coat (with your fingers, tweezers or scissors), give us a call to organise removal.
It's important to continue exercising your pet in Winter, as well as keeping them mentally stimulated. Being cooped up inside can encourage destructive and negative behaviours. Walks, runs, catching up with friends and play sessions in the park are perfect ways to keep your pet active. Here are a few tips for you. 👇
Happy International Cat Day! Share below a pic of your cat in his favorite spot in the house 😺 🐈 #InternationalCatDay

Sometimes when a pet is in pain, you may see subtle changes in their behaviour. Any changes in behaviour can be a sign of pain or other health issues and we recommend taking your furry family to see one of our veterinary team.
For our older pets, it is important that they are kept warm and comfortable during the cooler months. If you notice them struggling to move, it could be age-related diseases such as arthritis. If you are wanting more information on ways to keep your pet warm or have a senior pet that you would like to discuss, contact us today.
There is plenty of evidence to support that cuddling your cat is beneficial for your health. Make sure you hug your feline today. If your cat isn't into hugs - perhaps a high 5 or a pat! #HugYourCatDay 😻

We thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate these ever changing times to the best of our ability.
We will do our best to continue to offer full services for you and your pets.

Does anyone else's pet enjoy having fun in the sun? 🌞
05 Jan - Pet Safe Summer Video
Keep me safe for the rest of summer by following these tips! Did any of these surprise you?
Sun safety isn't just important for my owners, but me too. If I'm going to be out in the sun, be sure to apply pet-approved sunscreen to areas where my coat is thin such as my nose, belly, groin and ears. If I like wearing a hat, pop that on too. If you have any questions about protecting your pet, speak to us 🐶
