A very successful trial from my team.
Culgoa Leo gave me my first Open trial win. At 8 years of age I was starting to think about retiring him soon. This year I have noticed him starting to tire during a trial and sometimes taking the easy option to get the job done, losing us some points along the way. This Scottsdale Show Trial the sheep suited him beautifully and we had luck on our side. We scored our highest ever score of 97 and then 92 in the final.
Leo’s son Findale Jock also managed to score his first ribbon - 2nd in the Novice.
I’m sure my Pop would be proud of our win, today is his birthday. This is for you Pop 🥰
