She's just starting her last week of pregnancy. She's so pregnant!!

I'll be visiting her more often this week so she knows to expect me around during birth.

Today she wanted to leave with me so I took her to Bassendean town centre for a bit of a walk around. She loved it.

And very happy to go home to Lisa's. She's having such a good life at her new home ❤️❤️❤️

Molly will be having her puppies at her new place, with Lisa.

Brought the whelping box pieces over 2 weeks ago to reassure Molly she will be looked after. I came over today to help set it up. Molly knows exactly what's going on!

She's at home in the wooden square, ready for pats ❤️ always sharing her love around.

Last month Squat, then Molly, went on heat. I was doing so well keeping Spud separate from them.

2 weeks pass by, keeping them separate, Squat is no longer on heat, Molly is getting to the end, I get back home and let Spud out. It seems he's no longer so interested in her. Ahhhhh, I feel a little relief. I go inside for 10 minutes then come back out just to check. They're locked. I mentally kick myself. One job Halimah, you had one job 🤦‍♀️

They only mated once, but true to form, the ultrasound today showed that Molly is pregnant with 5 puppies. He's so reliable...

The good news is that there's one last chance for anyone who knows just how awesome Spud and Molly's puppies are. These will definitely be the last ones! She will be getting the snip after this lot.

I went to Sista's On Beaufort yesterday with a friend, 3 dogs between us. The owner was so friendly and encouraging of our dogs being there. They provide water bowl, staff offered our dogs free biscuits, and when my friend asked if it was possible they have a small dish of plain boiled chicken for her poodle, the owner cooked it up and refused to let her pay for it

She's been there for 8 months and still getting it off the ground. I loved my food and chai.

I highly recommend as a place to enjoy your friends and be able to bring your pooches.

This sweet natured girl, Molly is now 6.5 years old.

She recently had her annual vax and check up.

I'm very pleased to share the vet detected no heart murmers. They also weren't able to detect any issues with her joints or spine. All common cavalier problems and all things that put a massive smile on my dial when the vet says she's still clear.

I know I haven't posted much lately.

There's been a few changes.

I decided earlier this year that I'll stop breeding indefinitely. The reason is that there's too many puppies being bred and breeders should never be part of the problem of unwanted puppies. All of my litters have found good homes but I have definitely noticed changes in demand and lots of anecdotal evidence that other breeders are struggling to sell puppies.

I love the whole process of breeding and hope to pick it up again in future.

I will keep this page and I still want to do the annual get together for all of us. CPL BBQ event is SUNDAY 20TH OCT and I hope many of you can make it.

I'll be posting some photos over the next few days of events and info I missed out on sharing the last few months.

I said goodbye George Jr this evening. He's going to a home where he'll be playmate for another dog.

This couple have been looking for a Cavalier for some time. I'm confident they'll be very happy with this little, delightful Mr Man.

Goodbye Alfie

The first of my cavaliers left for his new home today. Little Alfie, first born, smallest puppy, most shy of the litter.

Having cavalier puppies had been a very new experience. They're not at all like puppies with poodle in them. They're gentler in nature and more timid when first coming across new things. They're also incredibly cute and a great advertisement for having more cavaliers in future.
