🥳 A year of Luna 🥳 can you believe this week marks one whole year of Luna being with us? In that time she’s been broken in, won hearts, attended training days and clinics, trail rides, competitions, pony club and taught little people to ride. With her soft and willing nature she’s been a pleasure to be with and we just love having her here 🥰🦄A big thank you goes to my children Beau and Hayley who have helped guide and teach her along the way. We love you Luna!
All the horses and ponies at Valley View had adjustments today by Dean our favourite Chiro, even Jack (the dog) got in on it. Thanks Dean!
Who’s ready for a beach trip with Luna & Cheyenne? Stay tuned for a date over the Summer school holidays. 🌊 🐬🐚🦄🦀
Equestrian in the park such an exciting comp. This is what it’s all about to those competitive types.
Thank you to Oakford Equestrian Center for letting us use your amazing facilities. I was able to school young Luna on a brilliant Cross Country course and introduce her to a variety of jumps. The water jump was great for a warm day like today 👍🏼 💦
Just because it’s heating up doesn’t mean we stop riding. We just adapt to keep everyone comfortable. Here’s Hayley and Luna with some hot 🔥 summer riding tips.
When everyone’s eating but you forgot your wallet so you just sip the free water… 😂
Today we took the newbies Luna & Alfie on their first beach trip. The kids did a great job showing the ponies there’s nothing to worry about. Watch them go from nervous and unsure about the scary surf, to relaxed, rolling, splashing fun. Bring on those summer beach trips!
Alfie’s journey… from unbroken project pony to safe child’s mount is going great guns thanks to 11 year old Beau. These two have a brilliant little bond and I love watching them together. What a way to spend a Wednesday afternoon.
Happy hump-day. Nothing like a beautiful sunset bush ride after school/work to settle into the evening. Luna is looking schmick in her summer coat 💎😎
#fridayfunny Alfie, such a crack up 😆
Mr Alfie…. So the journey of educating and developing begins for him. He’s already been backed and my son Beau has done a brilliant job of getting few kilometres under saddle out bush, but Woahhh this little dude is spicy in the arena 🌶️ 😂 I’ve already eaten dirt three times with him! When Alfie gets confused by what’s being asked he throws a tantrum. This leads us straight back to basics, and groundwork has been our ‘go to’ when he gets a bit anxious. I’m so excited to see him develop into a safe little all rounder. Albeit with more baby steps than giant leaps and that’s OK because all horses learn differently how to trust and be confident in themselves just like us! 🐎
