🐾 Bolt – 8 years, Pomeranian X
The dignified senior of the group. Bolt is a professional treat seeker, loves to roll in weird stuff, and enjoys a slow wade in the dam. Always sensible around the younger pups, but don’t underestimate his snack radar.

🐾 Mocha – 7 years, Chocolate Lab
Pure energy in Lab form! Mocha lives for water play, motorbike zoomies, and the big ball. He’s a joyful, high-speed cuddle machine and a true daycare favourite.

🐾 Blue – 7 years, Black Working-Breed Lab
If you see a dog running by with a tree-sized stick in his mouth, it’s probably Blue. This guy is non-stop, super athletic, and absolutely thriving at 7 years young.

🐾 Miss Nicks – 6 years, Staffy
Our chatterbox queen! Nicks always has something to say and loves being close to her humans. She’s gone from water-avoidant to full-on splasher—and we couldn’t be prouder!

💧 Maze – 4 months, Bernese Mountain Dog
A giant fluffy water baby with the soul of a troublemaker. Maze is obsessed with water—splashing, tipping buckets, and wading through anything wet. She's full of personality and zero hesitation.

Cute overload alert! Kiai is a bouncy, happy puppy who loves mischief, cuddles, and causing chaos with Maze and Nancy. Equal parts snuggle bug and cheeky tornado.

🗣️ Nancy – 4 months, Border Collie
Our mini Ziggy/Bonnie lookalike with a voice like a squeaky toy! Nancy is all about the water—she dives into the dam and cools off in the shell pools. Plus, she’s got puppy opinions to share.

🎉 Cobba – 11 months, Staffy X Rescue Pup
Lovable, hilarious, and a full-blown goofball. Cobba is the kind of dog who will trip over his own feet, then try to make you laugh about it. He’s a little chaotic, a lot sweet, and completely unforgettable.

This week at Doggy Days & Farm Stays, we’re celebrating our longest-attending puppers—the true daycare veterans who’ve been running, rolling, swimming, and stealing our hearts for years! These pups are family, and each one has their own quirks, talents, and (sometimes questionable) hobbies.

🔥 Introducing Our OG Crew:

📸 Mr. Arlo the Australian Shepherd – We’re convinced he’s secretly a supermodel. Never takes a bad photo, never has a bad angle, just pure photogenic perfection. But don’t let his looks fool you—Arlo is all about fun! He just takes his time getting to know you before he breaks out the butt wiggles.

💕 Miss Bella the Amstaff – From tiny pup to full-grown superstar, we’ve had the privilege of watching Bella grow since she was just 16 weeks old. Cuddly, loving, and full of energy, she stunned us all with her hidden speed when she took out a race win in the Oldbury Cup! Who knew this snuggle bug had a need for speed?!

🎾 Mr. Ollie the Kelpie – Ready. Set. GO! There’s no activity this guy won’t join in on. Whether it’s races, farm games, or his personal favorite—bubble popping—Ollie is ALWAYS in the action! Kids love him, dogs love him, we love him. Basically, he’s the ultimate fun-sized farm superstar.

⚡ Mr. Knackers the Border Collie – If you see a streak of blonde and white lightning tearing across the paddock—yep, that’s Knackers! Whether he’s zooming, doing bombies into the dam, or telling us his VERY important thoughts at pickup/drop-off, Knackers is always making an impression. However… we must admit… when the cows visit, he earns the unfortunate nickname “Poo Beard” (for reasons you can probably guess).

💖 Miss Penny the Roll Queen – Penny is extra special to us because we’ve known her since she was a tiny pup, bred by my brother Heath & his wife Jade. Watching her grow into the beautiful girl she is today has been amazing! She’s a summer bombie pro, but don’t expect her in the water if it’s even slightly chilly. Penny’s true passion? Rolling! Grass, dirt, sand—you name it, she’ll roll in it!

🐾 Celebrating Our Daycare OGs! 🏆 These pups have been with us since the early days, and we couldn’t imagine the farm without them!

⚠️ The Dangers of THC in H**p Oil for Pets

Meet Phoenix, a brave little dog living with epilepsy. Phoenix’s treatment plan includes phenobarb and h**p oil, carefully tailored to manage his condition.

Last week, Phoenix had a bad seizure, and in an effort to help, his owner gave him h**p oil. Unfortunately, it wasn’t his usual pet-safe h**p oil – it was a human-grade h**p oil containing THC.

What followed was far from fun: Phoenix became dangerously high on THC, a substance toxic to dogs. He was disoriented, unable to stand, and drifting in and out of consciousness. After three days of intensive care, including fluids and monitoring, Phoenix thankfully recovered.

Why is THC so dangerous for dogs?
Unlike humans, dogs are extremely sensitive to THC. 
Even small amounts can cause:
Disorientation and loss of coordination
Vomiting, drooling, or tremors
Seizures or life-threatening heart rate changes
In severe cases, coma or death

Dogs metabolize THC slowly, so its toxic effects can last much longer, making prompt veterinary care essential.

The Takeaway? Always use pet-specific h**p oil and check the label carefully for THC. What’s safe for humans can be life-threatening for pets. If you’re ever unsure, consult your vet first.

Phoenix’s story is a reminder of the importance of understanding what we give our pets.

Come Meet A Lovely Breed of DOG The Staffy So Cute

Welcome to Doggy Days & Farm Stays!

Today, we’re celebrating one of our favourite breeds—the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, or as we affectionately call them, Staffies! 🐾

Staffies are known for their big grins, endless energy, and huge hearts. These affectionate and playful dogs are always a highlight in our pack. In this video, we’ll chat about everything Staffy, including their love for exercise, their amazing social skills, and tips for keeping them happy, healthy, and entertained.

And there’s even more excitement—it’s school holidays, which means our not-so-little helpers are back! We’re thrilled to welcome back Charlize, Everlee, and Hadlee, who always bring extra smiles and helping hands to Doggy Days & Farm Stays. We’re thrilled to share an exciting day at Doggy Days & Farm Stays! Today, we’re welcoming three adorable new pups to our pack: Ona, Biscuit, and Josie! These new friends are already fitting in beautifully and making paw-some connections with the rest of the group.

And that’s not all—Bronx the Boxer is back in the pack! 🥳 We couldn’t be happier to see that wiggly tail again.

As always, we’ve got plenty of fun lined up, including zoomies, group games, and some heartwarming moments with all our furry friends. Plus, we’re spotlighting another fun “Zip about Zoe” today—get ready to learn something new about this gorgeous lady!
