Well, we do have quite a range of products that can help in the aid of limiting high anxiety in your four legged family member ❤️

However, this little beauty pictures below we seem to can’t keep enough of on the shelf, especially when it’s thunderstorm season 🌩 Vetalogica Tranquil Treats are a fast acting natural suppressant that helps naturally calm your dog or cat 🙏

You administer the products like treats atleast 20kg to half hour before an anxious event will occur and will often last in the blood stream for a couple of hours 😌

Yes fish owners, it’s the time of the year we ALL dread 😟 the winter ick (whitespot) that gives us advanced grey hairs 🙄😒

For the novice fish keepers out there, Ick or commonly known “whitespot” is a disease that preys on your stressed fish. It always lurks in your aquarium and shows itself more promptly in cooler months where the temperature fluctuations impact our fishes over all health 🐠

Things to keep in mind when purchasing mainly tropical fish from us during these cool months ahead 🥶

✅ When purchasing tropical fish, always make sure your heater is working correctly by purchasing a good quality thermometer.
✅ Make sure you set the temperature between 26-28 degrees.
✅ ALWAYS make sure all your other shopping is done before purchasing fish. They need to go straight home.
✅ MAkE SURE you keep some aquarium salt or some white spot treatment on standby so you can put some in either before you introduce the fish or after they enter the aquarium, apply again in a couple of days time as a precaution.
✅ In the event of a freezing day (such as today) either come through in the middle of the day at the highest temp or wait for a warmer day ahead to purchase new fish.
✅ Be very aware that it is the time of year to expect whitespot to occur. Always have a keen eye checking on these little dots to appear not just when you introduce new fish, but each day over the collet months.

For any more information, please speak to the staff about the right way of fish introduction throughout winter and treatment, and please understand that it’s not something that will just occur from the pet shop you purchase them from, it’s always sitting there in your tank waiting for the right time to strike 🚨

🤍🖤🤍 MEET CHESTER, PEPPER, MAGIC & COLE 🤍🖤🤍

Hi, our names are Chester, Pepper, Magic and Cole and we’re the most affectionate kittens you ever will meet! We like nothing better than a good lap to curl up on to keep us content and purring our little hearts out. We are kittens though so we also love to play and tumble around. We love the mice toys that we can chase and toss around when we play.

Nature
🤍 Chester - I am a playful confident little chap that leads the pack of my litter. When I want a cuddle I wind in around my Foster Mums legs until she picks me up and gives me squishes.

❤️ Pepper - Spicy by name but not by nature. I follow my Foster Mum around and as soon as she sits down I am first to sit on her lap. First in, best cuddle position is my motto!

🖤 Magic - I am the smallest and cuddliest of the litter and my spot is on my Foster Mums shoulder. I just have to be snuggling and smooching and just love human company.

🤎 Cole - I am another snuggler. My Foster Mum calls them cuddle puddles because we just love a good cuddle. I am a little more independent and like to explore.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
We have been around other cats and know when to play and when to back off. We have made the spiciest kitties fall in love with us.
We have not been around children, but as long as they are kind and gentle and can give us some space, we think we would like to play with them. We have not met any doggos yet, but with slow introductions we think we will be OK with them.

Likes / Dislikes
We LOVE toys and playing. We haven’t found a toy that we don’t like yet! We love watching cat TV as well. We are great eaters and Royal Canin wet Kitten food and biscuits and cooked chicken is what we love most.

Our PURR-fect home would be one with humans who have lots of room in their hearts for us, and who would love cuddles on your lap and we would definitely like to sleep on your bed!

If you would like to apply to adopt Chester, Pepper, Magic and Cole please come and meet them at Pet City Midland adoption event this Saturday from 10am until 2pm. They will be there for expressions of interest only as they haven’t had vet work yet.

Did you know 🤔 most frogs flick out their sticky tongues 👅 at prey and the victim sticks to the tip of the tongue and gets drawn back into the mouth and consumed 😳

A green tree frog however, uses this technique for smaller prey but for larger items, it pounces, then pushes the prey into its mouth with its hands 🤭

Did you know, not only are blue staffies absolutely adorable 🥰 but they are more susceptible to skin allergies? 🤔

It’s a common condition called Colour dilution alopecia (CDA) it’s a genetic inherited condition that causes skin inflammation, flakey skin, thinning coat, and hair loss 😳 more common in blue or fawn coat colours 🧐

Fear not! This condition may not be curable but it can be maintained by a healthy diet, correct shampoos and avoiding irritable surfaces ✅
