🚫 Elevated daily and overnight fire weather conditions are continuing over the southern half of WA, meaning further Total Fire Bans tomorrow are in place to prevent fires from starting unnecessarily.

As of 5:30 pm today we are managing 22 active incidents across the State, which includes the ongoing emergency response to unprecedented flooding in the Kimberley.

If a TFB is in place for your area, you need to avoid any activities that could start a fire. If you see smoke or flames, call Triple Zero immediately. This helps us get crews to an incident quickly, to hopefully prevent it from escalating into a life-threatening incident.

The South West Australia Way (SWAW)

The WA 4WD Association has developed a 4000km 4wd touring route that “circles” the South West of Western Australia....The South West Australia Way (SWAW).

The idea for this touring route came about during the final stages of the MundAl Track development early 2018 and provides a way of taking the long way back to Mundaring after completing the MundAl.

The SWAW is made up of five 4wd touring tracks :-
