Well it has been an extra long time since my last big photo dump, because... I finally had a holiday like a regular person and even managed to zip to Bali to for 4 days. We have certainly made up for lost time with no rest for the wicked. Here are some of our adventures in no particular order.
Dogs are amazing creatures, arguably the best! When you get a dog, it makes your whole world bigger and brighter. I told Ted-E that I would show him "the world", he got me off the couch and out and about doing activities all around Perth that I thought I was only apathetic about... though, as it turns out, we both enjoyed it. Im fortunate to extend this fun to all my oodle clients as well, thanks to Ted-E's influence on my life (we started a business nearly 6 years ago).
However, ...the best thing, by far, about having Ted-E are all the wonderful clients / friends I've met as a result. It was recently my birthday and earlier in the week I was invited to a Pups & Pizza night. ๐ ๐ถ To my absolute surprise, Ted-E (it was his birthday too) & I were the guests of honour of our very own birthday party complete with party hats, decorations, and even an ice cream cake ๐ which was my very first one in forty years! I'm so lucky and privileged to have these wonderful people in my life... thanks so much for making this big milestone age such a special one. I'm so blessed and still have a big smile on my face now... one, I'm sure, will last a long time every time I think of this moment.

66 of my favourites since my last post. The lucky little babies had adventures in from bush to river and sea. We saw Kangaroos, sea birds, works of art & even managed a playdate. Some of the highlights were definitely S&R orchard... but I have excluded those pics because there's a reel below.
Happy Mother's Day Everypawdy. It has been 1 month since my last big photo dump... and boy have the gang done fun things!! ๐ Some of the areas we visited include: Wanneroo, Mt Lawley, Highgate, North Perth, Dianella, Yokine, Carine, Osborne Park, East Perth, Joondana, Tuart Hill, tonnes of trips to Bunnings and even a Baskin Robbins opening. ๐ฆ Some of the highlights included: Ephemeral Oceanic in the City & Subi Blooms in Subiaco. Though a special mention to dinner with some clients / park friends ๐พ at Stirling street foods (food trucks) We also hosted a playdate on ANZAC Day and raised $300.75 for Shenton Dog refuge. ๐ ๐

We got very lucky, getting a parking spot and so I figured it was meant to be! It is always beautiful walking around Supreme Court gardens and over Elizabeth Quay Bridge.
The dogs loved it...and we became quite the attraction ourselves

"Just wrapped up a marathon pet sitting gig/s from the end of Nov to Mar 11! ๐พ Took some much-needed me time, but the guilt of turning down 5 clients for my 2 week break was real. ๐
Still, these past 2 weeks have been busy with extra walks and business improvements paying off already! ๐
I'm so excited for the upcoming Playdate fundraiser for Shenton Dog Refuge! ๐ถ๐ Anticipating a fantastic event on Good Friday that will hopefully help us reach or even surpass our $250 target! ๐ Let's make a difference together!

Sorry Facebook friends this was meant to be an instagram (only) post. I try not to post on here too often- fortnightly, with the exception of playdates, cover photo changes or special events e.g recently Valentines Day. Another couple of fun, but very hot weeks this February! Its always an impossible challenge, getting creative with scheduling and locations as best as you can. The hardest part for me personally is working 6-12pm (best case scenario) and then patiently waiting for the day to end, doing your best not have a nap because you have been awake since 4:30am. ๐ I must admit I failed most days at this, snuggled under a doona with the AC on and snuggle dogs draped over me. The pet sitting dogs were in heaven of course, but it was hard for me and definitely Ted-E to be stuck inside unable to leave the house. Despite all of this however, we got to go to some amazing spots and some of our favourites: Woodlands, Wanneroo, Joondana, Balga, Dianella, the river, The bush, Wilson, East Perth, Mount Lawley, Highgate, North Perth, Yokine, Mount Hawthorn & Inglewood just to name a few.
In the last 19 days, there's been so many adventures, locations, pet sitting, a wedding ๐ & even a playdate. We raised $148.30 for Shenton Dog refuge and gave additional donations as well. Nearly finished my massive pet sitting stint and have managed to survive all this heat ๐ฅต... despite needing to repeat a few of my favourite shady spots of late and me getting some consecutive headaches as a result. All the same, it has been a great few weeks- here's a few of the highlights.
Is it just me or does it feel like Christmas was months ago! We have done so much since then a few playdates, lots of Pets being sitted, walking adventures and of course tonnes of cuddles. โฅ๏ธ
Last post for 2023, it has been a busy few weeks... here's some of the highlights
This weekend is my first weekend off in a month and my last one until March 12th (unless someone needs me). So... I have made the most of it and have worked extra hard to give myself my very own long weekend. Don't get to excited for me, Ill be prepping the house for all my fluffy elves staying over Christmas, but should be able to make some time to have a little social life too. Despite the little week we still had a ball and got up to many fun adventures. We had an impromtu afternoon playdate, went to Day of the Volkswagen in Hillarys on the weekend, had tonnes of cuddles and did zoomies all over the northern suburbs of Perth. ๐ And just a side note- sold 2 packs of Christmas cards, 1 calendar and got $17 in donations on top for Shenton Dog refuge. If you have made it this far... firstly well done & secondly you will be able to purchase these items at the playdate next week instead of a donation if this is your preference.
What a wild ride!! Summer is something I dread every year, and last week we saw a record breaking heatwave!! I WON'T take out the dogs if it is too hot, so we have to get creative... otherwise the poor dogs won't get seen too & I don't earn a living. ๐คทโโ๏ธ Thankfully we got through it and only had to cancel 6 walks total (volunteered). Since my last post, I have been pet sitting, we had a playdate which raised $174 for Shenton Dog Refuge, we went to the beach, river, saw waterfalls and bush land just to name a few. There were a lot of very early starts in the park as early as 5am with pet sitting dogs and an excess amount of cuddles in the AC as we were patiently waiting for the rest of the day to end.

I adore you all and I'm sure you all love seeing gorgeous photos of our adventures... but I always try not to bombard you with too many posts. So here is what we have been up to recently.
More adventures!! We went all over but some highlights were pawsome day out & Ted-E and I even took ourselves for a quick break to Margaret river. I'm pretty much booked out until mid February with pet sitting, so a little time of quiet was just what we needed.
So much excitement in one week. We visited, Mt Lawley, Inglewood, Shenton Park, Tuart Hill, Joondana, Dianella, Daglish, Highgate, West Perth... just to name a few!!

I think there was about 26 dogs over the course of the 2 hours, so not a bad turn out. Thanks for being not only generous with your time but also by gifting money or items for Shenton Dog refuge.

Fun times in the sunshine
Why do I refer to them as "little babies"? Because when I want them to follow me, it is much easier to say "little babies come!" Then rattle off 7 names.๐คฃ Also these dogs are mine too, especially when you have known them since puppy checkin/training. We have a strong bond... they give me looks of love that sear through my whole body. If their owners call me Aunty Tess because I'm part of the family... it seems only fitting that they are my little babies (regardless of size).

FAI Women's World Championship 30 competitors from 13 countries competed in the championship, which involves dropping something onto a target on the ground. What a wonderful turnout this Good Friday to my #palaceplaydate I was truly overwhelmed by everyone's generosity & even had a little... maybe big cry in the car ride home from the shelter. We raised $140.70 for Shenton Dog refuge & provided them with much needed towels & blankets for the rescue dogs always needing good homes.
