There was more fur that flew out of the window 😬🐾. Which the birds will repurpose as nesting material.

I sometimes get asked about the conditions inside the trailer during the hot summer months…

Well they are pretty cool to be honest.
There is an aircon unit that I set around 23 / 24 degrees. The trailer has sliding windows either side and a barn door. Allowing the breeze to flow.

Also the trailer is made of a double walled fibreglass. A material that has a low thermal conductivity. Meaning it stays very cool.

To my lovely clients.

I’m ready to pick up my clippers and start grooming again after having 3 weeks off due to surgery to remove a tumour.

I did my first groom since surgery today on the beautiful Abbie.
I’m ready to take on smaller dogs for the next week or so ( Spoodle size or smaller ) then by the 20th November I should be ready for the bigger breeds.

Please please would you contact me so I can start scheduling you all in again.

Seen the surgeon yesterday.
I’m healing well.

Results:
Lymph nodes clear - margins from cancer all clear. ( they managed to cut everything out )
What a huge relief but I had a feeling it would be ok.

Next step is healing and taking care of myself in preparation for 3 to 6 weeks of radiotherapy.

Im feeling very positive and grateful for so many wonderful things in my life. My family friends and my fury clients 🐾.
Also the health system in Australia who I know don’t always get good press. But I really cant fault them for the care, communication and speed of the service I’m getting.

My mental, emotional and physical health are unbelievably strong. Thank you all again for your love support and positive energy ❤️

I can see the light at the end of the tunnel even though the tunnel is long!

❗️WE NEED YOUR HELP 😔

We've had a terribly quiet week with only 3 adoptions all week 😣😰

This is extremely concerning and means we are unable to save the dogs in regional and local pounds facing a bleak fate 😭

If you've been considering adopting or fostering, now is the time! There are over 150 dogs in our care all so deserving of a loving home or at least a break from the kennels 💙

This sweet boy is Magdi. Look at his pleading eyes 🥺🥺🥺 He is a sweet and loving 2 year old American Staffy, who is looking for a loving home with a big sofa were he can spend his time snuggling his favourite people. Magdi was shy when he first arrived here but has really grown in confidence and started to relax. He is looking for a calm home, experienced with bully breeds or rescue dogs with a family who will spoil him!

He is excitable around dogs then a little unsure but polite when he is close. His new owners should work with socialising him with calm, well mannered dogs in a controlled environment to build up his confidence 🐾

Given enough time and patience, Magdi will turn into the best companion, he just needs the right family to bring it out on him. He loves nothing more than laying in the sun and cuddling up to his favourite people 💙
