One of the reasons Diesel joined our program was to improve his on leash reactivity; when coming across head on with dogs.
This was his biggest threshold, as it made it difficult to enjoy daily walks.
Diesels owners have done a great job working through his reactivity.
We were also able to capitalise on Reggie’s reactivity, as he would lunge toward dogs as well head on or when they are looking at him on footpaths.
Using E collars we were able to maximise our communication to when other external stimulus was present 🔐⏳

Big Reggie rejoined our program after a bite in the community walking past an individual.
Not only did he become reactive to people, but also dogs and anything else with wheels lunging aggressively toward them.
This obsession came as result of bad habits, lying in the doorway all the day/obsessive window shopping and learning how to use his voice to move traffic on; or so he believed.
Reggie’s owner has done a great job, and can now enjoy more outings with him!

Polly joined our program after developing a reflex response after getting a fright from a passing truck whilst walking at 5 months old.
She also started show triggers from squeaky brakes, heavy diesel cars and trucks as well as reverse alarms.
The fear Polly developed led to the anticipation of danger when leaving the house, which is illustrated in her immobility when she’s expecting to enter community.
This led to not being able to go walking from the house without her stopping and wanting to go home.
Through out the program we worked on establishing clear communication as well as counter conditioning the above stimuli.
Polly’s owners have done a great job through the program and continue to enjoy simple pleasures with Polly 🌺 ⏳
