NB: Not all varieties are always available in each box as we only choose the freshest and most ideal mushrooms at time of harvest. Once you place an order, we will notify you when we harvest and order is ready for pickup (from our farm in Leeming).

Mushroom compost is environmentally friendly - high in organic matter, recycles waste and saves water.
It can be used as a soil conditioner and as a mulch, and is very good for growing vegetables in.
Lighter and easier to spread than manure and smells better!
We have heaps of spent, organic, nitrogen rich substrate blocks @ $5 for 15 blocks (approx. 1kg each).

Here's where a mushroom's journey starts - at its mycelium stage.
The mycelium can be thought of as the "roots" of the mushrooms made up of a threadlike web of hypae. The mushroom itself is the "fruit".
This picture shows the successful cultivation of healthy blue oyster mycelium in our very own lab.
After this, it will be innoculated into our very own mushroom blocks that will provide the food source for the mycelium to consume. Eventually, and when ready, it will be stimulated to grow into mushrooms.

After a much needed break we are back into the full swing of things.
We are excited for 2022 and will be bringing to market some new products in the coming weeks.
The guys at LittleMushroom Farm have been busy restarting our growing cycle - from preparation of our mushroom blocks, cleaning our production facilities, lab work and innoculating our steralised blocks. We'll ready for harvest in the coming weeks.
