Hey everyone 👋

Here's an updated price list for the upcoming financial year.
As of July 1st all prices will be going up 10% as I'll be charging GST excluding now instead of including.

I know this may affect some people as I know the price of living at the moment is hitting a lot of you super hard and I'm very sorry for any drama's this may cause but unfortunately it has to happen.

6 months ago on the 23rd of December I had to say goodbye to the 4 legged love of my life. My Bear Dog meant the absolute world to me and to say this last 6 months has been hard would be an understatement!!

Without Bear, Ruff Life would not exist today, he cemented my love and passion for dogs in a massive way and he'll forever have a piece of my heart.

Some of you already know but most don't as this hasn't been something I've wanted to advertise on the page until now.

With that being said, I've always wanted to get a digital art piece of Bear done so I can start up some merch and it finally felt like the right time. I found the amazingly talented Steph from .designco and she came through with this absolute beauty!!

It brought me so much happiness the first time I saw the completed piece and I couldn't be happier!! Bear Dog absolutely loved the beach so I wanted to incorporate that in the artwork, and his puppy dog eyes 😍🥰🥰 love it!!

Hey everyone 👋

Just a reminder that I'm on a much needed holiday now to recharge the batteries. I'm back to work on the 10th of June.

Any regulars that are directly affected by this break, have or will be notified directly over the next day or two.

Happy 2024 everyone!!

Sorry I've been a bit silent on the page. The start of 2024 has been nothing short of absolute organised chaos!! It has been a massive start to the year and as always wouldn't be possible without all my amazing clients (and their hoomans)!!

Thought I would give a quick update on new clients and bookings.
I am taking on new clients again, however as my schedule is still almost full, these new bookings are few and far between so please be patient.
With this being said, new clients will only be accepted from my local area.
This includes but not limited to,
High Wycombe, Forrestfield, Midland, Swan View and surrounds.

Merry Christmas everyone!! 🎅 🎄
I hope you all have a fantastic time with family and friends and of course spoil all the fur babies out there as much as you can!!

I'm on a much earned break until the 8th of January. All booking inquiries made over my break will wait until that day to be answered as I take some time to myself!!

Once again it has been an amazing year for Ruff Life and I continue to be amazed by all your generosity and support throughout the whole year!!

I've been absolutely overwhelmed with the response and care to Bear's recovery. The amount of caring people Ruff Life has brought into my life fills me with so much happiness!!

I thought I'd post a bit of an update on how he's going for those that are interested as today marks 4 weeks since his surgery 😳

Bear Dog is doing absolutely amazingly!! After suffering from a stomach bug mid way through his recovery he's come out the other side a brand new doggo. He's filled with so much happiness and joy that I haven't seen in him for quite a while! So obviously the poor man was in pain for quite some time 😔

The lab results came back all clear from any other cancer in his body and the tumours turned out to be "pre cancerous" so I believe. So great news all round and he should be fine for years to come 🤞

Today was his first bush walk since the Surgery and he absolutely loved it after being couped up indoors for the last 4 weeks.

Just a quick update on Bear's progress.
Bear was rushed in for urgent surgery Tuesday afternoon after a specialist had viewed his original xray scans from Monday and deemed there to definitely be a foreign body in his stomach.
Once the surgeon began to operate she quickly found that he had 2 tumours on his spleen. One was almost the size of a tennis ball. The vet made the call to give Bear a splenectomy.
After a 4 hour surgery and 18 hours in 24hr emergency care I got to bring him home yesterday afternoon. He is in great spirits but far from out of the woods just yet.
We're waiting on lab test results to determine if the tumours have spread to other parts of his body, depending on how those results come back depends on his next few days.

I want to thank everyone who has sent their love and well wishes through, it really means a lot to know that you all care, and the response has been overwhelming! Sorry I haven't gotten back to any of you but I will be working through those messages today.

As far as bookings go, I'm going to start tentatively confirming bookings for the weekend and next week and start to sort through all the one's I had to cancel this week. This may all change depending on Bear's development over the coming days. Please remain patient as I have a lot of messages and bookings to work through.

Hi everyone 👋
Due to my beautiful Bear Dog being very unwell at the moment, I have decided to take the rest of the week off.
After spending almost 4 hours in the vet with him yesterday morning, his Vet has determined it to be some sort of stomach problem and we're waiting on a specialist ultrasound to determine exactly what it is. He's at home with me now while I keep a close eye on him.

All bookings up to and on Friday will be notified directly. Hopefully we should know more by the end of the week for the bookings over the weekend and into next week. Please be super patient with me during this difficult time.
All booking inquiries will not be answered too just yet as I just don't know what the next week or 2 has in store.

I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

You've been the most loyal companion anyone could've ever asked for. The love and bond we share is second to none and I couldn't imagine my life without you ❤️

With the AMAZING start to 2023 Ruff Life has had, and the majority of the next 2 months booked up 😱 and then heading into shorter and rainy days after that. I have unfortunately made the decision that I will no longer be taking on any new clients at this point in time.

This doesn't mean anything for existing clients, you can still book in if you're not on a regular schedule.

I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, I did not want it to come to this but unfortunately it has. I hope to re open new clientele bookings after winter but will make that call when the time comes.

Unfortunately I'll have to stop taking bookings at this stage, sorry for any inconvenience!!
I am absolutely jammed 7 days a week now leading up to Christmas.

I'm not taking bookings for January at this stage as regulars will be tended to first after the break.

I will be closed for business from 25th December to 12th of January. Any inquiries sent during this time will not be answered until atleast the 12th.

As we rapidly approach Christmas, booking requests have gone through the roof. Please be super patient when booking in, I do my best to get back to each and everyone of you as soon as I can.

I will be starting to work on my days off (Wednesday/Thursday) towards the end of November and during December. These days will only be available for a 1 off booking and will not be available for a regular schedule, they will be purely just to help with the over flow.

Bookings at the moment can be up to 3 or 4 weeks away as some area run days start to get very full, please take this into consideration and make sure you're making your bookings in advance!

I continue to hugely appreciate the love and support I get from all of you and do my best to return that with a great service and a fresh doggo 🐕😁

We are growing!! This means we need some extra hands to help us process and pack meals for our furry mates!

This position is based in our brand new processing facility at our Bayswater store.

We have around 20-25 hours available across 5 days, meaning we can be flexible with your schedule. We’re offering a part time contract which means there is also sick leave and holiday pay included.

Pay rate varies between $26-32 per hour across the week.

Well that's a wrap on RL's first financial year as a working company.

In the last 10 months since we launched on the 13th of September, this little company and dream of mine has absolutely flourished into something I thought would take well over a year, if not 2, to get to the point its at today.

This would not have been even remotely possible without all my loyal clients and the constant in coming of new clients your word of mouth and recommendations have brought me.
