Rats and Rainbows Small Animal Rescue We are a private non funded rat and small animal rescue, we work with sick, injured, and difficult to handle animals.

We also specialise in Lorikeets, and hand raising other injured pest species. We provide boarding for your rattos if you're planning a holiday. prices start at $15 per week

This includes all food, water, play time, enrichment, treats, snacks, as well as regular cage cleaning. We are happy to administer any medications you provide.

This is a snapshot of what looking after four new little Wildie babies looks like! They make a mess. The milk gets spilled. And one always looks like it’s missing! Thank you to John for trying to catch mum and babies . The babies are safe and we’ll just see what mum’s going to do. I think I’ll have to give them cyclone type names.

Our newest batch of Wildie babies and young mice caught by members of the public, have just moved into their new critter crib mansion! Come and see them on the weekend at the next ‘Pat a Rat’ event at Peto!

I have 3 sizes of baby wildies at the moment, here is another video (because I love them and I want to share the love !)

1 biggest is Pavarotti and is the eldest and friendly!
2 middle size is Shooter, s*x unknown as not friendly 😥
3 smallest is Misty, friendly at present, keeping fingers crossed!
