Whether your dog is small or big (like Marley here), we will always work with your dog to ensure their comfort. Marley is a Newfoundland and a very big girl. This is why her groom is completed on the floor, we work around her. Not so great for our backs but we do what we need to do for our dogs 😆💙🐾

‼️ Please Read ‼️

We have 3 drop off times for our salon. 9am, 12pm and 3pm.

A couple of friendly reminders:

🐾 Please be on time for drop off. We need all of the dogs in so that we can work through them without too much interruption. If we get everyone in, then we can get to work and get your dog back to you sooner rather than later.
🐾 PLEASE pick up your dog within half an hour of us sending a text message. We often need the crate space for other dogs and they miss you. We do reserve the right to apply a late fee for pick up.
🐾Please don't try to watch your dog from outside the salon or pop in before they're ready. It stirs the dogs up and they usually take more time to settle back down after they've soon you in the middle of their groom.

We may be experiencing cooler weather, but the salon is as busy as ever! Please make sure you book your appointments well ahead of time, we're currently looking at a 3-4 week wait.

It may be an idea to book for the rest of the year, too - only 6 months left for the year (yikes!)

We have products available in the salon. Our favourites are the Luca Leash, Ezy Bones and the new Form Fit Harnesses (perfect for the smaller dogs).

We often get asked about what products we recommend for various scenarios, so we thought we'd stock exactly what we've been asked for!

Grooming competitions...
Ribbons aside, there are a few reasons we compete in grooming competitions:

🐾 Networking - we love catching up with fellow groomers and stall holders of products and treats. Competing allows us to meet fellow industry folk, established and new.
🐾 Education - competing is a wonderful learning curve, and receiving judges' critiques helps us improve our skills.
🐾 Experience - using our skills in the ring to further develop them and gain more grooming experience.
🐾 Admiration - it's not only about our results, but it's also about seeing other's results and seeing people in love with the grooming industry, just as we are. To see the devotion of other groomers and the passion for what they do, it's truly admirable.

We love what we do and feel very lucky to keep your dogs looking and feeling great! 🐾💙

Gemma was awarded 2nd place in the Advanced Gundog Class today with Sonni the English Springer Spaniel.

These appointments however cannot be booked online - please text or message us if you're after a Saturday appointment. Rhi and Gemma aren't in the salon on weekends, they're busy with family and dog show commitments.

Yes, that's right. Dogs with anxiety or who are nervous should see their groomer MORE frequently, NOT less. The more fequently they come, the quicker they can see grooming as a positive and pleasant experience and not as punishment.

Yes, we do work with anxious and nervous dogs.

We require them to be booked at a 3pm appointment time. These appointments are very popular and start from $150 - this enables 2 groomers to help your dog through the grooming process.

Rhi and Gemma aren't in the salon on Saturdays, but our amazing young girls are. This just means our specialist grooms are unable to be done on Saturdays. Please message, text, or call us to book your Saturday appointments.
