The ultimate wrap-free method for gifting, our fabric gift bags! 💁‍♀️🛍️

While our wraps are ethically made in Chennai, India, our gift bags are made here in Perth in collaboration with the (MSC WA), using the fabric offcuts from our wraps to further reduce waste ♻️🌏

Each purchase supports the continuation of the Healing Stitches program, which harnesses sewing as a vehicle for learning about and enhancing mental health, AND gives back 20% of profits to local charities.

They’re 20 cm x 20 cm, so big enough for jewellery boxes, makeup, wallets, small candles, our fabric gift wraps, etc.

Life hack to give more mindfully and meaningfully, and reduce waste! 🌎

What’s important is that you can adjust each idea to make it more personalised to your gift recipient.

👉 Do they have an activity they love to do? Appeal to their interests!
👉 Could you give them a classic gift with a twist, such as movie tickets but to an outdoor or rooftop cinema?
👉 Are they planning on travelling anywhere soon? Give them something unique to do on their trip!
👉 What tool or skill would be useful to them at this point in time? Show that you see and care about their hobbies and interests.

Activities in a pair or group are also a wonderful way to cultivate more moments together and create memories to last a lifetime. Give memories, not things ✨

Similarly to the way slow fashion is the response to fast fashion, conscious gifting is the response to the fast and wasteful giving trends of recent decades.

With nearly 1 in 2 Australians (47%) not thinking about how the gifts they bought for others this past Christmas would eventually be disposed of, it’s time for a revolution when it comes to gift giving 🙌🌏

Plus 20% of profits are donated to local charities AND they’re shipped in 100% recycled cotton paper packaging and compostable mailers, reducing as much waste as possible!

Growing up is realising how sustainable the Grinch really is 🤯♻️💚

Research from and .styles has found that over a quarter of Australians expect to receive Christmas presents that they’ll never use.

It’s also expected that Aussies will spend over $1 billion (yes, that’s a billion with a B!) on unwanted and unused presents that will likely end up in landfill.

This is why it’s so important to rethink what we’re buying and gift more mindfully 🎁🌏

What a year!! 😱 Thank you to everyone who has followed us, visited a market stall, or bought a reusable wrap or gift bag online or in person this year.

In the first few months of 2024, we:

📏 Developed our product with our ethical sourcing partner Urvara
💬 Sought insight from our inspiring advisor Jess at Retourna
🎨 Worked with Elly from Calypso Print Studio to create the prints for our first collection

In the last few months of 2024, we:
🚀 Launched our first collection of reusable fabric gift wraps
🌊 Won the Summer X Salt Markets Salty Start Up Grant
🛍️ Debuted our collection at markets across Perth including Summer X Salt Markets, RAG POP UP, Kalamunda Night Market, Yagan Square Markets in the Square, Elizabeth Quay Markets @ the Quay, Town of Victoria Park Summer Street Party, Freo Farmers Market, Perth Upmarket, Subi Farmers Markett, Brookfield Place Perth Christmas Market, and the City of Joondalup Christmas Market
🪡 Partnered with Multicultural WA here in Perth to create our offcut fabric gift bags (now available on our website!)
