What are your plans for Easter? Nyah and Jasmine who are my two assistance dog patients went camping together last weekend. Bless them.

A heartfelt thankyou to all the amazing people who have been recommending Vet 4 Mums and are sharing my details on social media and with their friends and family.

I've lived in Ellenbrook for over 15 years and one of the things I have loved so much about starting my own mobile business is being invited into people's homes and providing a much needed service to our community. I have shared the joy of new puppies and kittens being brought into people's lives, looked down countless ears, supported older pets with their sore joints, helped frazzled mum's who can no longer get their big dogs into the car as well as hugged family members and been completely moved when assisting in final farewells.

Having people in my Swan valley community share my business and recommend me really does mean a lot. Whether it's friends from the Ellenbrook Eels football club, the Falcons hockey club, school mum's, past colleagues or new clients all the support means a lot and I thank you.

There is a reason the world loves cat videos. After Christmas we welcomed little Holly the Maine C**n into our home. She is a rascal and keeps our Moggy on his toes. She has been amazing therapy for my daughter and I as much as I feel defeated I know she is the new queen of our house.

It is with so much pleasure that I share a Christmas miracle. I have been working with a very special support dog Jasmine over the last few months and her family in order to follow and meet the treatment and testing criteria for her to fly from Perth to New Zealand in the plane cabin with her special little guy so that her family can experience an overseas holiday all together. There are lots of steps to this process and meeting all the requirements was an exercise in diligence and attention to detail. I am so proud and thrilled that we achieved our goal.

I do have a soft spot for Maine C**ns. Hank and Yondu are looking like perfect angels while they were waiting for their vaccines this morning. While not posing for photos they were in my bag and knocking my sunglasses off the table and just generally being characters. 😍

Today (which happens to be my birthday) I received a call from a local mum needing urgent assistance with her dog.

Please read the post below from the absolutely incredible Tessa- snake wrangler extraordinaire.

This call out tonight although tragic was actually heart warming because it was the exact motivation to starting my buisness. A mum, on her own with small children faced with the reality of having to pack everyone into the car after bed time to wait at an emergency centre. It was a privilege to be able to attend and make a really stressful situation a little bit easier.

Some very joyful news to share today 🖤I am pregnant 😍

I always hoped love would fall into place when the time was right but alas, time (and my ovaries) waits for no man so I made the life changing decision to go down the s***m donor path, hoping I would be lucky enough to become a Mama.

As it turns out, there is more than one way to realise the dream of motherhood and I hope you can celebrate my choice and this beautiful miracle with as much enthusiasm as you might celebrate the more socially accepted route.

To my family and friends. It hasn’t been easy on me - emotionally, mentally, financially and physically. Your love and ongoing support has been unwavering over the last 2.5 years on this journey and I simply could not have done it without you. I love each of you more than words can express.

To the people who want so desperately to share happy news like this, to those in the fertility trenches, to those who have suffered one or multiple losses, to those hoping to meet someone special to start a family with and feeling like the clock is ticking - I see you, I’m with you and in some respects, I am you. This is not at all how we imagined the journey to parenthood would go.

Praying for your angels in heaven and for your future angels to make it into your arms. Please pray for mine, both the one I lost last year and the one whose heart I am holding 🌈👼🏼

Several weeks ago I was invited to the lovely Bella's 1st birthday which involved a puppy and human wine tour in the Swan Valley with Pawfect Bus Tours. It was really divine. The dogs (and humans) were all so well behaved. Bella was clearly made to ride😎
