Metebelis Cattery Breeding quality, house reared Scottish Fold and Scottish Shorthair Cats I have been breeding cats for over 30 years and am a member of CatsWA.

All my kittens are sold vaccinated, wormed, chipped, sterilisation arranged, with papers, a pedigree and
a general information sheet relevant to the particular kitten. All my kittens are house reared in our busy household.

Arya and Frosty are pleased to announce the arrival of their final litter yesterday morning; a noisy tortie and white bi-colour girl, and a hearty blue and white bi-colour boy. Mum very happy and healthy. Human mum very relieved after a long 24 hour labour.

We have a further update on the girls! Arya is now due in a couple of weeks but it looks like Luna wasn’t having kittens...

We have exciting news! Frosty from Britzobeauty Cattery came to stay with us a few weeks ago. It now looks like both Arya AND Luna are pregnant and due in a few weeks or so. This will be Arya’s last litter and then she will be retiring to live out her life at a gentler pace. Frosty will also be retiring . This should be a great event to see some of the many different pedigree cats now in WA AND domestics (moggies). There will also be lots of stalls , raffles and cat rescue groups represented. Mr Meserve is judging on the Saturday and then a variety of CatsWA Judges (me included, but don’t let that put you off) will be doing their thing in an additional three ring show on the Sunday as he presents his top ten and of course, his Best Cat of the weekend.

On Monday we said goodbye to our beautiful and incredibly loved Hagrid. Hagrid was the hub of our cat world. He loved everybody and everybody loved him. If you have a kitten from my cattery younger than thirteen, you will have some of Hagrid in your fur baby. He had 2 litters with his beloved Arwen before retiring to run the house. For both her labours he howled outside the door demanding to be let in and help. He loved those kittens so much and would often be found playing with them. He loved to be in the thick of everything. He was a nursemaid, kitten sitter, Christmas enthusiast, midnight cellophane chomper and the best companion you could ever hope for. Today, we have his great great grand daughter, Luna and his great grand daughters, Arya and Daisy to carry on his lines. Old age may have defeated him, but he will be in our hearts forever.
