🚫 Foam – especially Memory & Orthopaedic Foam – beds nearly all contain the highlighted toxic chemicals. These chemicals, once enclosed in a cover, especially a synthetic bed cover, will create a gas chamber. The gasses will slowly escape and be inhaled by your pet (and you). The toxic chemicals will become airborne and land on your dogs skin and coat, which they will lick and ingest when grooming.
Your dog’s bed should be a safe, healing space where he or she can rest and recover from a day of activity, training or working. We cannot expect the best behaviour, performance or duties from our dog’s if they are being slowly poisoned and cognitively impaired by toxic bedding.
Providing a safe, genuinely non-toxic bed for your pet ensures a greater quality sleep. This in turn helps to build their immune system and to fight inflammation that can be caused by toxic overload.
DID YOU KNOW … ❓
The Australian Pet Industry is UNREGULATED. This means manufacturers can make any claim, unsubstantiated, and will not be held responsible if your pet becomes ill.
There are NO standards for pet bedding. There is NO veterinary standard or approval process for pet beds - NONE. Even the APVMA (Australian Pesticides & Veterinary Medicines Authority) has no criteria for what pet beds should or should not be made of.
STAN Pet Beds are the only genuinely certified ✅ non-toxic dog beds available on todays market in Australia, and the only dog bed we will ever provide for our, and your, dogs to sleep on 🐾
